I've heard the gameplay is amazing. The 10 minutes I got to play looked beautiful. Unfortunately that was all the time it ran for before it crashed. I'm running an EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra, AMD 5800x, ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I Gaming (BIOS v2407), 32GB Trident G. Skill RAM 3600, and a 1TB NVM.e Hard Drive. My PC should CRUSH this game - at any settings.

I tried...
1) Running As Administrator - both game and launcher in both Rockstar Launcher and Steam.
2) Verifying the Game Integrity on both Rockstar Launcher and Steam.
3) Disabling Windows antivirus capability.
4) Clean Installs of both Nvidia Game Ready Driver and Studio Driver.
5) Playing in DX12 and Vulkan.
6) Performing a clean boot of Windows with no background apps or programs.
7) Scanning for corrupt files.
8) Running Windows Virtual Memory.
9) Setting Nvidia Performance to "high".
10) Adjusting Audio Sampling to 16 bit 48000hz.
11) And finally adding -ignorepipelinecachecode to the game launch options

I spent about 6 hours troubleshooting. I did everything except rollback my BIOS and Reinstall Windows. Both are Nuclear options - and I won't be doing them for a game. I refuse to incentivize developers who don't do proper QA by doing inordinate amounts of work to get their products to run. Purchase this game at your own risk. Some people can get it to run, some people might be willing to go nuclear to get a game to run. Just be wary of the playtime when you start - you can refund to Steam after 2 hours. Make sure you do your troubleshooting before that 2hr window closes. Maybe I'll be able to pick this up cheap sometime in the future and make it work.
