I really like these kind of games. The game is very grappling hook based, which i like. But it is heavily relies on momentum. I'm using a Xbox one controller to play and can't get pass one of the first stages. This is purely based on the fact that i can't gather enough swing momentum.

I looked at a letplay of the game and it seems like the game is suited more for mouse and keyboard. Or maybe the game is designed this way - to be hard. Either way it feels unfair and a bit frustrating. I barely started the game and can't progress.

Hope the devs provide some clarification.

Its the slowest platformer i've ever played. I have an i7 and a capable GTX 1070 and the frame rate seems to be <30. Developer, please make the game faster like the advertised trailer. At the moment, gameplay is extremely slow for a platformer.

EDIT: The finished article is a lot better. Graphically beautiful, better upgrade system. The new bosses are amazing too.

As a successor to "Shadow of Colllusus", it delivers in terms of the boss fights. They are epic and immersive (especially fighting that flying giant eagle monster). While traversing the land, the survival elements makes the game even more challenging (in hard mode).

It seems the game took a little bit of inspiration from the recent Tomb Raider games with the bow and arrow and the tomb/caves with puzzles. The puzzles are very good headscratchers. However, the rewards you get at the end are a bit meh...

You can upgrade your gear and you can get new gear like a warmer jacket etc.. in some places. The trouble is that once i've found this new gear, my existing upgraded gear is better than it. There is no incentive to change gear in my opinion. I've finished the game comfortably with the default upgraded gear.

Sometimes, you find rare melee equiptment, which is nice.

The only shining light of this game is the boss fights. All of the fights are different, which adds to the variety. They also take a long time to defeat. These are the enjoyable parts of the game. The game has 4 bosses (excluding the initial tutorial boss). For those 4 or 5 great moments for the pricetag is not worth it. However, if you a fan for SoC then it probably is.

They are adding 3 more bosses (according to the roadmap). Personally i'd prefer 5+ more and/or variants of existing bosses. But lets hope they're EPIC AF.

I've never spent 255 hours on a video game before. That speaks for itself.

I've been looking for a platformer like this and once i saw the trailer, I had to try it out.

BEFORE BUYING THIS GAME READ THIS:

Unless, you are a platforming pro, expect to die a lot in this game. Checkpoints are relatively sparse and the game does not hold your hand. The demo may seem easy but the game is not. There also does not seem to be an easy / hard mode - its all one mode.

Once you finished the intro bit, you have access to seven diverse locations, all of which are hard levels and different in their own way. Once you finish the level, im not sure if there will be other levels unlocked.

If you like Megaman, you'll probably like this.

If you do not like loosing and consequently starting the level again from the start, you will not like this.

I havent played any of the main far cry games but if its anything like this, i will. You've got FPS, stealth, upgrades, missions like many other games. What stands out is the visual style, awesome dragons and the fact that your a ****** cyborg that can run and swim like crazy fast.

Whats even better is the framerate. For me the game hardly ever dropped below 100FPS with the settings not adjusted (GTC 750Ti) This made the gameplay soo fluid unlike most recent AAA FPS.

The story is hilarious and doesnt take itself too seriously (niether does the game), which isnt a bad thing. Its a semi-open world with a moderate ammount of content. I almost 10 hours in and i can tell the game is going to finish soon.

However, for the price, it is of good quality. Defo get it if is is on sale.

Early Access Review
Very decently priced game. Basically your stuck in a space station and you have to escape. Not really horror but very atmospheric. There's a lot of platforming puzzles to solve. The setting/location being a space station is a small-medium sized complex labyrinth making it challenging to escape from.

At the moment the complexity of the map gives a good amount of replay value. However, I would like different mazes with different platforming elements in this game. This is something the devs should consider.

Reasons to buy this game:

immersive and atmospheric
Challenging puzzle elements
Few jump scares
Very good graphics
Well worth the price

Its a very fun game with a lot of weapons, a lot of AI, a lot of options amd a lot of variety. It has a very good progression system which is rewarding. The steam achievements, albeit a few, are challenging and actually feel like achievements. Every time you play you have the option to choose a randomly generated character or you can custom choose your character, so there is that flexibility and it keeps everything fresh and addictive. It does get hard and challenging at times to unlock new weapons and characters - but it doesnt feel impossible - this is what makes this game fun.

For 7 quid, you cant go wrong with this game. It is a decent price for a very good game, which hardly takes any space on my SSD. I can see myself spending 40 hours minimum on this, and its been well worth it.

Open World game with good replayability. There are a few bugs here and there but nothing major to take away from the experiance
