Enjoyed season 0, then season 1 dropped. To enjoy the new content you play through solo story quest, with mechanics built about standing still in a warframe like game. Then get to a trivial thing with your friends that you are playing with... then you unlock the new season content... which is a time gated solo experience about standing still in a highly mobility focused game.

I don't think I have ever been so swiftly disappointed by a game. Did revive my interest in Warframe, so I suppose I can thank them for that.

Early Access Review
Started this game honestly not expecting much since it was day one of the early access release. Honestly never been so pleasantly surprised by an early access release before. Controls are all pretty simple but feel nice and tight already, the progression is extremely enjoyable.

I am super excited about the dev progress to this game. If this is a sign of things to come, then I am expecting this to be a game I will come back to time and again.

Early Access Review
** Would've checked maybe for recommendation if I could've **

This game is definitely nothing like what was promised in the Kickstarter. Also a bit small in this early access state than what could be expected. This build does leave me with a bit of hope for the finished game, which is far better than I had before Little Orbit took over.

Game currently has 1 race, 2 starter classes, 2 advanced classes for each starter class. The combat is pretty easy for anyone seasoned in Tactics games, not once during the game session was I even slightly worried that a single unit of mine would die.

The song system frustrates me a bit. There are currently 3 listed songs that describe what buffs they provide, you can however play other songs. No tool-tip for buffs/debuffs on your character beyond an icon, leaving the player to guess at their exact meaning. Abilities have no real indicator as to which note they will play. I ruined one of the songs that I was playing by casting fireball with my elementalist... Would've assumed an attack note, instead got a defense note.

The story sees your character being carried along and just sort of falling in for no major reason. Chapter 1 does set the stage for your character to be more of a central focus, so I am not going to count that as a negative just yet. However when I completed chapter 1, I was left with a feeling of "that's it? Did I glitch?" There is a cut scene at the end that sets the stage but beyond that there is no real indication that Chapter 1 was completed. Would've been nice to see a "Chapter 2 coming soon" or a "to be continued..."

**Conclusion**
If you are willing to roll the dice on a game down the line, this could be a decent story and worth the ride. Little Orbit has been transparent with the backer community. Game absolutely has rough spots but could easily overcome them, and given their reactions I would expect them to. At 29.99, it is absolutely a roll of the dice if it is worth it. As far as Early Access games go, I have definitely paid for games with a worse start and less promise.

This is an excellent game, and an absolute steal at their full asking price of 15$. The game feels cohesive and no matter which of the space sim tasks you take you feel like you are doing something worthwhile, whether that is trading, mining, salvaging, delivering, or pirate hunting. The combat is simple yet satisfying. If you rush through to the end, could be a very short game, however it is difficult not to go off on a tangent on the way.

Very happy to see the dev support on this game, seems to be some real love there. They are actively improving the game while also embracing the modding community. I've only seen mods for ships and weapons, however the devs talk about opening that up to quests and missions. I look forward to seeing where this game goes, definitely a game I will be returning to.

If you like space combat action rpgs then this game is a must. Completely random generated. Your action and inaction could have a serious impact on how the game progresses. Co-op brings a lot of space justice to the table too.
