Can't get over the fact that the hit marker sound effects are straight from CS.

better Battlefield than Battlefield

the starting guns blow. once you get other weapons the game gets better.

also the UI sucks but gameplay is good.

This game is super hard but it's really rewarding to learn the mechanics and get better at the game. I've really enjoyed it so far.

Witchfire is just sort of meh. It does some things okay but nothing well. The atmosphere and aesthetic is a cool idea. But there are way better roguelite games to spend your time on.

Play Roboquest instead.

Echo Point Nova is an absolute blast! If you’re into fast-paced, movement-heavy shooters, this game is a must-try. The first thing that hooked me was the hoverboard mechanic—it's like sliding on steroids. Instead of your typical sprint and slide, you’re zipping around these gorgeous floating islands on a hoverboard, dodging enemy fire, and pulling off insane maneuvers with style. The freedom of movement feels so good, especially when you’re chaining together hoverboard boosts, grappling onto cliffs, and launching yourself into the action.

The environment is another highlight—forget your standard cityscapes. Echo Point Nova takes place on massive floating islands that give the game a fresh, open-world feel. The levels are designed to make you use the verticality of the environment, and it’s super satisfying to use the terrain to your advantage in combat.

Combat itself is fast and intense. You’ll be switching between weapons and movement in a constant flow, and the game rewards you for staying mobile. The variety of weapons feels well-balanced, and the enemies are tough enough to keep you on your toes. Combining the hoverboard with combat feels natural, and once you get the hang of it, you can pull off some really creative strategies.

The visuals are stunning, with the floating islands giving off a dreamlike vibe that’s both beautiful and challenging to navigate. The sound design is also on point—whether you're tearing across the landscape on your hoverboard or landing a perfect shot mid-air, the audio makes everything feel impactful.

In short, Echo Point Nova nails everything that makes movement shooters fun but with its own unique twist. If you’re looking for a game that combines speed, creativity, and heart-pounding action, look no further. 10/10, highly recommend!
