That’s about all you did and I bet it was because the game ran worse than it does on average.

- Unable to login due to shoddy web servers. It’s 2023 and you don’t have Kubernetes style server clusters?
- Game immediately asks you to create an account for an online system without any automatic 0Auth layer from Steam. The smallest of indie companies can do this right.
- No Launcher for said login which means you’re in game. Why is this a bad first time experience? Because it allows game time to accrue which is IMO a buffer against Steam’s 2 hour time limit on refunds.
- Tracking software (for those unaware, that’s what “Telemetry” is.)

Really was looking forward to playing it, but like every other modern software company

Release now & patch later for the next 5 years til we get it right.

I'm still somehow Master Guardian Elite after not being active for a long time.

Definitely have more than 600+ hours in the game from the 20+ years playing CS since beta but here we are. I believe nothing will capture what CS has achieved after all this time. CS2 will be the reawakening of the best multiplayer PC game ever made.

2 hours in. Game is decent, but it’s highway robbery to be charging $70 for a remake.

Port runs like molasses and stutters even with a top of the line rig.

2/5 stars because for the price, hellll nah. It should be perfect.
