It's more like "remember parts of me" than "remember me" really since Remember Me is a pretty decent game as a whole but certain parts stand out while others fade into the background which to me either showed a lack of consistency within the game and maybe a lack of communication between the design team.

BUT anyway Remember Me is one of those titles that comes along once and a while and wows you with it's ideas and mainly it's ideas - the game's main concept memory storage and distribution is a great concept and weaves the story together well making you question both your character (Nilin) and the other character's own memory as you try and get to the end buuuuuut it does kind of fall apart near the end and the amount of lore the game expects you to take in first time around is obnoxious to say the least. Yet like I stated before this is a game of inconsistency, even if the concepts are great the characters aren't as well done, yeah you may question them but it's not like their memorable. In contrast to this the world and environment design is top-notch and refreshingly makes the future an actual okay place to live in as it's littered with cafes and clothing shops making it feel like that the human race has actually progressed into this state. Another great visual aspect is the effects design as some of them are superb and fit into this sci-fi world so neatly that they are a joy to watch, blasting the memories out of a guy's head has never looked better :D. The most stand-out concept of the game is the fact that you can fiddle with people's memories, change them and therefore changing their life experiences forming them into a different person, it's a great story narrative device and probably could have had a whole game for itself from how enjoyable it was but I wish it was used more...

The combat system is a refreshing take on the usual beat em up, gone are the heavy attack, light attack, dodge ceremonial dance that is worshipped by previous games and instead you create your own comboes with their own benefits, mixing up kicks and punches as you go - roundhouse kicking foes to give me health is just so sweet plus someone decided that you can dodge and carry on your combo which is a awesome touch yet the combat can get really clustered when fighting multiple foes and you can never seem to pull off your best comboes because you get blind sided by a dude lightly stroking your hair. On that note the humanoid enemy designs (the robots are pretty cool) and character designs (excluding a few characters) are really bland and take the life out of the world as the humoids all look like splicers that didn't make the cut to be in Bioshock. The boss battles excluding the last one felt really tedious to me, or in fact pointless, same goes for the stealth sections. There is a hell of a lot of climbing to do but Nilin moves so slowly that it makes it more of a chore to do it. The game time isn't that long with no replayablility at all and is pretty linear however the linear parts don't make it exactly bad as it does allow you to focus on the story.

Even though it does have it's faults and can be annoying at times Remember Me was pretty enjoyable for most of it, if your looking for a "different" type of beat em up I'd reccomend this.

+ Combat is refreshing and new
+ World, Special Effect and Environment design are superb
+ Memory remixing is a great gameplay mechanic
+ Story has it's moments

- Drab enemy and character designs
- Climbing and stealth are pretty boring
- Boss battles are annoying
- Short (but compact)

The Swapper is quite a fun adventure if you can tolerate it that is.

The Swapper involves being on a abanonded spaceship vessel armed only with a machine that allows you to create clones and swap between them opening up some ingenious puzzle gameplay involving moving your clones to different locations etc not much can compare to killing off a whole legion of yourself from dropping down a large fall then crowning yourself king because your the only one with free will or creating and switching to one of your clones to save yourself from a nasty death.

The puzzles in the game genuinely seem well thought out and aren't gimicky or dull but frustrating enough that your gonna get a kick out of finishing them properly above all they are a general joy to complete and do feel as if they are testing your brain in the later ones. There aren't any enemies in the game but truthfully the Swapper doesn't need them to be challenging, it's one of those games that has taken a simple idea and flown with it exploring how best it can use it's concept like Portal has for example.

The game is set out metroidvania style which means backtracking and exploring a lot but that's part of the fun of the game - exploring the spaceship and wondering what happened to it's inhabitants. Most of the story is told through small bits of texts that you can find throughout the game that help you to slowly piece together whatever the hell happened. On top of this all The Swapper's art style is pretty unique with the characters being made out of clay and shows that you don't have to be a big budget release to look great and atmospheric - I felt isloated and alone in the cold ship interior and started to long for another human being during the adventure. My only real problem with the Swapper would be the length and how (justifiably) annoying the puzzles can be, which can easily make you start to hate the game or get bored of it. That being said if your into both puzzles and adventuring the Swapper is a title your going to want to pick up.

+ Atmospheric
+ Puzzles are well thought out
+ Visuals are great
+ Ingenious concept

- Kind of short
- Puzzles may make you want to rip your hair out or sell your soul for the answers

Boring.

Just plain out boring.

I couldn't even bare an hour of this thing. Alien Breed: Impact isn't an action game it's a point and click adventure in an action games clothing. All you ever seem to do is find out something doesn't work, find the object that makes it work when you rub them together then proceed to the next thing that doesn't work; oh wait there's aliens, don't forget the aliens. The aliens in it really it has nothing to offer for you, the aliens are far from scary, laughable even I hadn't even realised that they were supposed to be the enemies because of how lackluster they were. The environment are just linear corridors and I swear all the lighting effects are just there to mask how drab and boring the game looks as a whole. You could have the same amount of fun playing this buy going through your system files one by one then stopping ever now and then to grab a pair of keys shove them into your screen and making gargling alien sounds.
On the plus side there were no bugs encountered during my small amount of time playing this product.

So just keep moving there is nothing to see here.

+ Didn't encounter any bugs

- Plain boring
- Aliens aren't scary and there just to waste time
- Level design and level mechanics (find something to make something work) are tedious
- Unpleasing to your eyes

Stabby, Stab, Stab.

It may be the weakest in the series, I think that it takes up a lot to set a game in the American Revolution and make it interesting and Ubisoft are yet to dissapoint in this assassination outing. The combat system and the freerunning has been revamped and is much easier to use, yeah there may be no lock-on anymore but really it makes sense as a design choice. On that note the combat animations look awesome and the double counters are pretty awesome as well. The stealth is a bit clunky at times but the AI has been improved so they aren't as dumb as before but can be tricked pretty easily for some pretty funny mishaps and it feels much more hectic being chased as well.

The setting ultimately lets the game down though, with too many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trees, which make the free running confusing and also it becomes hard to tell when guards will and wont stop you when your perched up there waiting for your next kill nor are the building high enough to be awe inspiring. The characters are great except the main character Connor who is unbearably arrogant and I swear at one point I wondered what he offered for the creed or even why he was an assassin plus the tutorial is like a couple hours so get ready for a long journey, and don't think its going to be a super interesing journey either because the story lost me most of the way and I just killed whoever they told me to to get to this Charles Lee guy who Connor seemed more interested in than Fangirls to Justin Beiber.

But in the end it's still a good addition to your Creed Collection

+ Combat has been improved
+ Looks Great
+ Characters are pretty engaging

- Except for the idiot of a main character
- Setting choice wasn't the greatest
- Long tutorial sequence

I don't regret buying this game, Valdis Story is a really good challenging game using the metroidvania style of platforming and exploring, it is one of the better action RPGs that i've played; the combat system is superb with all the comboes you can do and is quite detailed and indepth allowing for a lot of variety of playstyles. The game is also in how well it tests your technique and actual skill with enemies scaling and variety so there's always some challenge. Though some of the bosses do feel unfair and some feel like they pop out of nowhere but that shouldn't deter you if your looking for a challenge. If that isn't enough to get you buying it has a lot of replay value with multiple difficulties and characters to try out! The story isn't won't win any awards but its decent and keeps the game's flow going while linking the fights together.

Valdis Story is a hidden gem and worth your money.

+ Fighting System holds up pretty well
+ Pretty Visuals
+ Exploration is fun to do
+ Has a lot of replay value

- Story isn't groundbreaking
- Bosses can be infuritating

Bleugh :/
The game suffers from bad design choices like not being able to manage your parties equiptment and near enough no map at all, quite a few bugs within the game and predicatble story.
Aside from that It's a pretty generic action RPG that doesn't have much to offer other than the nice kills and addition to the lore. Less of a game experience and just a interactive pass time.
It also stopped loading for me for some odd reason :/
If your not super into LOTR then give this game a miss and purchase something else.

+ Kills feel pretty satisfying
+ Adds to LOTR universe

- Buggy
- Uninspired
- Bad design choices

Just try to survive.

Sorry in advance if this somehow conveys spoilers in any way, shape or form.

Deadlight is an undeniably nice looking short game, the 2.5D perspective really allows it to shine (or should I say darken) in the right areas in terms of visuals and the lighting effects are pretty enough to keep a consistent downpour like tone to the whole of the game and if you think that a game can solely be carried on its visual aspects then buy away my friend! On that note the tone is consistent in being a survival game that you rarely feel like you can go in guns blazing at the zombies and fleeing from them feels like actually surviving rather than avoiding an encounter – bullets are scarce, and zombies often like to gang up on you and use your tasty human buttocks for their next meal. It is also nice in the fact that the game tries to make you survive in other aspects such as traversing the landscape as well.

Yet my problem with Deadlight is that it suffers in most other areas of the game, it’s like the developers wanted to create a moody cinematic (with all the comic-style cut scenes) got the tone and the colour pallet out and forgot how everything else works in a video game. The game suffers from an incurable case of “End Level Abomination” syndrome in which the last few levels we’re more frustrating than fun and the subtlety and the plot are comparable to a drunken stage actor in his last ever performance with him to give what is supposed to be details to a small sub plot to the audience but instead vomits it all over the stage and narrative whenever he’s supposed to be on cue. That combined with voice acting that sounded like it was supposed to be ironic than actually engaging. Platforming can be awkward at times with the main character’s movement feeling like you’re moving a partially brick man with small springs attached, sometimes fighting zombies is unbelievably frustrating but I guess that may have been the point?

The game doesn’t add any new mechanics to the survival genre other than showing that a zombie apocalypse game can be carried by aspects other than zombies namely the environment that it’s in but all in all Deadlight feels like it was “my first zombie apocalypse” in that it’s got a good tone down but the application at times feels shoddy or unbalanced. If Deadlight were to enter a break dancing battle with all the other survival horror games out there, it’d come in the flashiest tracksuit but as soon as it goes to break it down ends up fumbling together some mediocre moves that he learnt off the TV. Not saying that Deadlight is exactly a bad game it’s not buggy or anything from what I played but it just felt like it didn’t have enough experience behind it.

Verdicts:
+ Stunning visuals
+ Good survival concept and aspects
+ Isn’t buggy or glitchy

- Voice Acting needs work
- Platforming and Action sections can be frustrating
- Last few levels we're annoying

Even though this game is your typical XCOM game, the story may be in a bit of a shambles and has a few bugs, I do reccomend it for the combat element that does feel tactical and hectic at the same time; a surpsiring meld of FPS and Stratergy. If you like anything like Mass Effect then you may want to try this however don't expect anything too great apart from the visuals and combat. It has some of the elements of being a very good game but is pretty much medicore.
