It's a good game, but it's nothing like Quake 1 and 2, and for people like me, that's a deal-breaker.

Man, alt-history paths are amazing.

It's a fun sequel to the original Quake but I feel it's not as good. There was a lot of love given to the game but it just wasn't as fun as the original for me.

Still, check it out.

I 100%'d this game on the Xbox and I plan to do it here as well. That's how much I adore this game.

If you're not comfortable with LGBT+ themes then this game is not for you. If you are or are on the fence, give the game a shot, it's a nice story and it's not hard to learn. I would recommend this game to anyone.

A welcome addition to the Doom franchise on PC now. I could not imagine playing this on the N64 all those years ago with those controls, I'll stick to Mario 64 or Ocarina of Time.

A great sequel, worth the time to play. Can get silly in later levels on the harder difficulties, with the amount of enemies that spawn but still great.

Up there with Doom as one of the greatest FPS games of all time. Always worth the time, effort and price.

I remember getting a pirate version of this game all the way back in 2000, from a friend of a friend, and it didn't even run remotely well due to the PC I had not having a dedicated GPU.

I enjoyed it back then and I'll enjoy it now. It's good that there is still a community and the work they put in for patches and maps is still there too.

I remember looking at this initially and not bothering with it when it first came out. It had been sitting in my to-play list for a long time until I eventually picked it up alongside Cyberpunk and have not put either of them down, 146 hours in.

Well worth it, you will get your moneys worth from this.

I waited years for this when it was first announced and was disappointed at the original game with its bugs and everything wrong with it.

Fast forward a few years and it's a whole different story, yes, there are still bugs and a whole host of things still wrong like the disappearing roads. Still, this is a game you need to buy and play at least once.

[Later Edit] After an extra 130+ hours put in including the DLC and all achievements, this is a massive change from the original version that was released, the PL DLC is an amazing addition and there are heeps of changes for the best. Buy this as soon as you can if you are on the fence about it.
