fun to unlock new content and the game is still getting updates, but I can't recommend it because of the amount of POPUP ADS. oh my gosh I know I can pay $20 for the new bbno$ monster which I already have five of because they're easy as frick to get!!! Not to mention the "gladvent calender" last december where you can show how glad you are that the devs are shoving a new microtransaction down your throat every day! The game is also not really fun as a f2p since the gameplay is limited/much slower, I would class MSM as a paid experience rather than a free game. Whether you pay or not, Big Blue Bubble will still be just as happy to interrupt you with popup ads for their latest overpriced microtransaction.

A reasonably short but incredibly fun game! As someone using a mouse it was a little tricky to make shapes both fast and accurate enough to defend myself, so the regular line attack saved me with its reliability. Totally recommend playing this if it interests you!

I think overall I did enjoy playing FUNKYHEART, but also there were a few moments where the gameplay just felt frustratingly hard. I normally wouldn't factor difficulty into my opinion of a game, however the extreme difficulty spikes during some of the platforming sections felt incredibly jarring compared to the rest of the game. Sometimes you'll jump across two rotating platforms and get a checkpoint, and other times you have to cross all seven layers of platforming hell to reach one—and of course the hardest part is usually right before the next checkpoint. I would also like to add that the game was running terribly for me, I was playing at 5–10FPS the entire time (which did make the game a bit harder for me, and was why I didn't bother trying the b-sides). My device isn't terrible though the lack of an options menu to disable/change anything really sucks. Also having some platforming sections reappear multiple times felt a little repetitive and left a negative impression on me. If they were different enough or a harder variant of a previous course, it would have been much better.

Like I said, I did enjoy FUNKYHEART overall. I know this is a review recommending not to buy the game, but it would be unfair to only talk about the negatives. I absolutely loved the music it is so so good, and it carried me through all the struggles!! Honestly the best part about this game. The art and environments were visually pleasing as well, groovy style. I like the 3D bunny even though controlling it is a little janky. The dialogue is pretty cute and the platforming (mostly) felt balanced and satisfying to play.

In conclusion? I liked it for the most part. You might like it. Idk. It's a bit of a mixed bag, to be honest.

Despite being able to refund the game after completing it, I don't think I will. BAD END THEATER is a beautiful visual novel designed around replayability—and while it can be a little repetitive trying to view every alternate path (which is not required to complete the game, by the way), each of the characters has their own side of the varying story to see. I also really appreciate the inclusion of a happy ending despite the game's focus on the exact opposite. Even though I wasn't expecting it from this game, it definitely wouldn't have been as memorable to me without one.

So, is the game worth it?
Heck yeah!

COOL IT!!!

I really can't do this game justice with my words alone. There is so much content and I love all of it, and not to mention it's entirely FREE. I'm really glad I encountered crashes too. It may sound stupid but it actually helped me pace myself going through the story before they got fixed :p

10/10, wish I could experience it all again
