Fun little Prince-of-Persia-like game that I enjoyed. Nice and fun combat loop. I didn't go find all the items, there were quite a few to unlock, almost too many.

Recommended - took me all of ~15 hours.

This game is a blast. It's puzzles are clever and make you and your partner feel like total badasses when you get it right.

This was an incredible experience. I immediately want to go play it again - not only to soak up the various paths and personalities that I didn't explore, but just to re-live the connection that this game forced with its characters.

The game isn't without flaws, but for me (a self-identified sappy story gamer) they were completely eclipsed by the obvious passion the design team put into it. Few games have give me such an emotional attachment to my actions - especially when they are relatively limited! I think that the experience of mundane tasks, walking to places, running errands, or literally cleaning the house, only enhanced the connection. This is multiplied by the incredible nuance in the motion-capture, where your character (and those around you) are believable.

If you want a fast game, action, or even a significant challenge - play something else in your library for a while. Detroit is more like interacting with an incredible mini-series than playing a game. If you have a penchant for getting the feels from a good game, this will ratchet that up and squeeze hard. In a good way.

This game is incredible. I didn't know what to expect, and I went in a bit unsure about it.

I won't spoil anything, but I'll simply say that this is a game about exploration and deduction. The best comparison is a modern Myst. I'm enjoying it immensely, and I think this is a game-change (bad pun) for the future - or at least I hope it is.

This isn't my usual type of game. I don't typically go for difficult slashers or blood-soaked puzzlers. But Ghostrunner was a blast.

I died a lot. I think my high in one level was 153 deaths (attempts) to get through. It's just so damn addicting to try and execute the perfect run-through, find the right way to slash every enemy without taking a single hit. Success is a huge high and failure is mercifully quick to reset.

The levels are gorgeous and the game ran very smoothly on my medium-grade system (i5 6600k and 1070) at the highest graphical setting. The music was awesome - I'm not sure I would listen to it separately but it matched the game and it definitely enhanced the experience. There were a few moments without music and it felt odd - thankfully they were brief and the music returned shortly.

The collectibles hidden throughout the levels were a bit strange - the game definitely emphasizes speed and being constantly on the move. I didn't spend almost any time looking because it felt so incongruous to stop and search - I just wanted to keep running.

All around a very fun experience, I recommend it.

This is what I wanted.

I enjoyed Beat Saber, and it scratched that itch, until I tried Audica. I haven't touched BS since, and frankly I doubt I will.

Audica is clearly made by the same company that gave us Guitar Hero - it has the same DNA and it rocks just as hard. The skill ceiling is high, the challenge is there, and it is very rewarding to do it well. The little touches stick from Harmonix's past and it shows - your actions actually add to the song (or leave holes when you miss), a clear scoring mechanism that makes sense (aim and timing), and an unmatched "cool" factor that makes me feel awesome and want to dance at the same time.

This is exactly what I wanted from a VR rhythym. Very recommended.

One of the best game experiences I've had in recent years.

This reminded me of The Prince of Persia (2003). There was a game that had fairly simple, straightforward combat and a story that I cared about. It was a game that gave me a sense of wonder and I believed it represented what games could be.

A Plague Tale is that and more. The combat and puzzles are nothing strenuous - they are perfectly straightforward without being too simple, engaging without taking away from the story. Each new mechanic is introduced smoothly and used just enough before adding the next thing.

The story is excellent - I was utterly engrossed from start to finish. I found that I cared a lot for the fate of Amicia, Hugo, and all the others. Few games have inspired the commitment that this one has. I wholeheartedly recommend this game.

Incredible.

This is what young Sandy wanted so many years ago, playing the Jedi Knight/Jedi Academy series. This carries on that legacy with a beautiful game that taps on the things I love from other titles like Tomb Raider.

This is easily the finest Star Wars game to be released in a long time. Play it - it is well worth your time.

A well told story that is intense, strange, and difficult.

The gameplay is a bit dated now. It's okay, but not great. The real reason to play this game is to feel the uncertainty, anger, and horror that Walker goes through. I don't want to oversell it - it's not a masterpiece, but it is good and well deserving of the short playthrough, especially when it goes on sale for $5.
