I barely recommend this game.

It's a cool concept, and I liked the music and some of the expanded ghost scenarios, but the game is so stupidly difficult and nonsensical. The fact that it barely used any new locations and instead recycled old ones is just the icing on the cake.

Still, if you can put up with the artificial difficulty and don't mind dying your way through fighting bosses, it has some cool stuff to it. 51% recommended.

Good game, overall. Lots of creepy moments and cool enemies and discoveries. Lots to find off the main path, too.

The controls are a little janky, and some of the puzzles are extremely obtuse. Still, more good than bad about this game, even ten years later. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

I mean, it's not a great game or anything, but it was a good and interesting showing for a first time developer. It had a couple of moments of fun jumps and scares, although parts of it that seemed to be intended to scare me actually made me laugh (In particular, being grabbed by an intruder can sometimes result in them phasing you through furniture and walls for a little bit, which looks a little goofy). I encountered several weird tech issues that required restarting the game, such as being stuck with the phone receiver and not being able to hang it up, and the dialogue for an NPC looping in on itself when I tried to fast forward through the conversation, resulting in me being unable to stop talking to said NPC.

The puzzles/navigation are a little obtuse, but I rarely encountered any true stopping blocks beyond needing to use a key a couple times on a door to make sure it's indeed not the right key instead of the door knob just not being in quite the right focus for the key to work. The scripting for documents and dialogue is fun, but not very well proofread. And the plot, while somewhat interesting, is a bit too disconnected to maintain any sort of cohesive understanding.

Lastly, there's all sorts of fun little easter eggs hidden throughout. I enjoyed achievement hunting in the game, but I didn't feel like finding the last couple. I also think if he changed the "No Refunds" achievement to one hour of play instead of two, it wouldn't cause any problems.

Anyway. It was a mildly fun and mildly frustrating game, but you can tell the developer was giving it his best, and I hope it's the first in more projects as I would like to see their evolution through future titles.

I absolutely loved the first Dead Space game, but I cannot for the life of me get this thing to run consistently on my computer. Most of the three hours of "playtime" I've clocked consist of me waiting for the game to load things, navigating menus, and trying to make updates, giving it 5-10 minutes, and force-quitting because it's frozen.

The scariest thing about this game is how badly the developers have made it run. Stay far away from this until they get their act together and make the game run halfway decent.

No, the game isn't actually this long, I just play it between busy periods at work mostly.

That being said, awesome game. Ties way more heavily into the entire Yakuza/Like a Dragon series than the previous title, which as a veteran of the series I liked a lot.

I slightly enjoyed the storyline of the previous game better than this one, but I also found this one had plenty of quality of life updates and lots of new and amazing insights into characters, the overarching story, and gameplay. Also no Dragon Cart, which is a huge plus in my book.

Fully recommend.

This game is such an amazing feel-good game.

I couldn't put this game down once I picked it up. Not only did I love all the stuff involving cats, but it was also a very warm and fuzzy game that didn't feel stressful. And, I also liked the LGBTQ+ representation in some of the character interactions.

It had some bugs now and again, crashed a couple times, that sort of thing. But overall, greatly enjoying this game. Fully recommend.

An overall pretty fantastic compilation of six of the strongest titles in the Kingdom Hearts series. Two of them are cutscene-only, but do a good job of filling in some blanks in the admittedly complicated storyline of the series.

Definitely recommend giving it a try now that it's finally on Steam. Well worth the time and effort.

Decently good and creepy game. Low on difficulty, but somewhat obscure on some puzzles and directions. Translation is a bit iffy too.

Still, really cool art and decent music, plus some good writing on the whole. Recommended.

Suda51's games are pretty much acid dreams given life, and I've gotten used to that. But I can't recommend this game because of the horrible job that was done by the team that put this on Steam and Switch.

I experienced crashes just about hourly while playing this game. Usually whenever the loading icon came up when I was about to save or complete a cutscene. This required me to beat a couple of the ranked bosses twice. Infuriating point number one.

The controls are garbage. The tutorial tries to explain all the things you can do, but there's so much to remember. And several bosses have instant kill attacks that are difficult to avoid if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, or have reflexes over a millisecond to react. The final rank is especially infuriating, because there is a bike race sequence that ends in jumping a bridge, and the game offers no guidance on how to survive it. You basically have to either keep trying (And when you fail, do the WHOLE thing over again) until you get right, or look up an FAQ. Infuriating point number two.

And lastly, the game just isn't that fun for most of the final third of ranked battles. You've seen everything there is to see, half of the assassination jobs are impossible to get Gold on, and the side jobs are tedious and take all of one playthrough each to get the most out of them. Just an absolutely un-fun slog until you fight the two near-impossible final bosses.

I liked the presentation of the game, the off the wall story and the humorous and weird moments. But honestly, save yourself some money and just watch a playthrough on YouTube if you're that curious. The developer stated two years ago that they're trying to make the game better, and as near as I can tell they haven't done anything to accomplish that.

A rancid port made by a rancid porting team. Avoid.

It's Legend of Mana with some upscaled graphics and a really awesome remastered soundtrack by the original composer. As a kid who played this back in the PSX days, I found this an amazing journey to undertake again.

Fully recommended for fans of the Mana series, PSX gamers, or anyone with an open mind who loves to see a game with a messy presentation that is nonetheless raw and beautiful.
