Why is every damn Vlad player a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tunneler?
Killer seems a bit strong with instant switches between forms. Just gives a massive amount of pressure.
DLC is fine but ♥♥♥♥ the people playing the killer, just a bunch of toxic wanna be comp players tunneling 1 person out of the game every damn time.

Fun for half a day if you get some ♥♥♥♥ down but go offline once and a bunch of nolives or Russians just offline you for the 2 guns you got.

If that's what you like about it then seek mental help.
Games like these survive due to community but when that's nowhere to be found it's just sad

(Posted this on their latest dev diary about the DLC and such. It fits here and I wanted to review the dlc so far.)

Sorry but considering other big DLCs like Federations, Utopia etc. I gotta say that this isn't one of the best releases.

I constantly feel like I'm not even involved in my planets anymore and that what I choose wont matter anyway. Since this update every game I've played I've had the issue that I went from something like +24 energy to -64 and then back up to another random number without me doing a single thing. PLEASE bring back micro managing! I understand that you want to reach a wider audience but you're simplifying the game way too much. Why would I bother having races that are good at farming or science when they'll take each others jobs anyway, reducing efficiency?

The actual content of this DLC feels very barren seeing as most of the content you access only later on in the game. Besides the spy system of course. Which btw also feels very rushed and incomplete. None of the espionage options really matter or impact anything. The sabotaging a starbase is a great example. I understand you want to stop people from blowing up shipyards for your own perceived balancing reasons but why not just make it harder or more expansive to blow one up? Hell, why aren't I even allowed to see what they have on that base before I choose to attack one? Maybe I can go manually check if I have enough intel to check by going to their system but make it easier so we can see it in the menu. Even if we're not allowed to choose what thing we blow up on a starbase at least let us know which starbase is worth attacking.

You guys added zero things to "character" creation. Yes, you added some new effects to some civics but they are barely noticeable and not that strong seeing as the spy system isn't that good anyway. I personally would've liked some expanding on hive minds and more origins, hive mind related or not. Hive minds such little customization that I almost always feel strong armed into one specific play style.

Now the biggest thing to actually piss me off is that before you guys even mentioned Nemesis you mentioned fixing habitats and how certain traditions don't even affect them.
My friends and I love playing this game and one friend in particular loves habitats and the idea of playing with them just as much as I. He was way more optimistic and thought stopped talking about it because you guys were obviously gonna put it in the new BIG DLC. I had a feeling you weren't and I'm sad that I was right.

Look, I don't hate this game nor am I trying to bash on Paradox. But you guys over hyped a lackluster DLC that didn't bring much content and didn't fix already known issues.
I love the nemesis and emperor stuff, it's just a shame how all you need to do is breed like crazy and you'll have the most amount of diplomatic weight. Please either balance that or add more options to compete. It strong arms people yet again into a certain play style just they can enjoy the new content.

One of the better games to come out this year though are really things they should remove/change, like the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chase mechanic. No fat full plate wearing ginger should be able to catch up to you when you wear minimal gear to make yourself a light infantry.

Sure has it's issues, though they do get patched or reworked every now and then so that's a plus.
No issues with the community besides the teamkillers getting away with ♥♥♥♥ and then getting you spam kicked or people trying some weeb turns for extra speed.

Honestly this game has only gotten worse with the years.
Optimisation is nowhere to be found, hackers everywhere, and Chinese are still not region locked.

You shoot someone 3 times and they turn around and 1 tap you in the leg when you have full HP.
Or they have one of the most inaccurate/high recoil weapons in the game and they beam you with it seemingly without any recoil what so ever.

Always liked this game a lot, even got called a ninja because of my insane knife kills versus people with swords. But out of nothing this game won't let me hjoin any server. I can see them but when I join they KEEP loading untill I cancel and can't find any servers anymore. Shame, tried to look for a solution but couldn't find one :/
