I absolutely loved OLBA, and this feels like it's going to be just as cozy and even more fleshed out. Really enjoying it so far. And genuinely gasped over the returning character. :') Looking forward to the full release!

Genuinely though, what a sweet and healing story. It's incredible how much dialogue there is and how much your choices impact the story that plays out. I didn't pick up the Step 1 DLC on account of not trying to prolong childhood (at least on my initial playthrough), but I highly recommend the DLC for Steps 2 and 3; they add so much to the narrative and really cement the feeling that your choices matter. Having characters in Step 4 refer back to decisions I made in Step 1 - 15 years ago, in-world! - adds so much to the feeling of nostalgia. And it should go without saying that so much of this is truly cathartic to MY late-diagnosed ND brain - I see you, Cove, well before that in-universe reveal.

This is hands down my favorite game at this point. The spiritual successor to DA:O. I love these characters so much.

I played as the USA. As soon as I implemented reasonable, humanitarian policies and gained the approval of the populace, I was assassinated by capitalists. So yeah, pretty realistic.
