As someone who pre-ordered it day one on Steam as a lifelong die-hard fan of Silent Hill 2
I can't express how much I’m in love with this remake! They took everything I loved about the original and made it even better. The atmosphere is perfect, and the beautiful remix of the original soundtrack brought me to tears, and the story stands as a reminder of the power of storytelling in video games. James's story hits just as hard, and everything is spot on.

This isn’t just a great game, it’s the top horror game of all time! A must-play for any true fan!

Few points are worthy of criticism:
- Not all new voice performances hit the mark.
- Certain actions/ reactions feel less impactful compared to the original.
- Limited combat options can feel repetitive at times. especially the Mannequins
- (Personally) I prefer the original’s pacing.
- Mary's letter...

I strongly recommend this game to every fan of horror games genre

Awesome action platformer. The gameplay feels intuitive and fluid, the controls are responsive and the levels are well constructed.

but I couldn't get into it in single player much becuase it presents itself in an overly-hyped style that feels forced, and the complete lack of level background music is a downer...

I find it very hard to recommend since nothing about the game really gives you any drive to continue playing solo, but if you have a bunch of friends and you could all get into the lobby without problems you'll certainly have so much fun!!

Basically the characters u play as are a parody of every over-the-top action title of Hollywood in the 80s and 90s... I am a big fan of that era and it's films, which is another I'm giving this a thumbs-up
