It's a great action game. Lots of mystery and exploring as well as exciting battles to be fought,

I played Black Mesa about 10 years ago when it was first released as a free mod. At the time Xen wasn't finished and the game itself was a fairly honest recreation of Halflife. I was expecting the same game as then, just with Xen added at the end, but oh what was i wrong.

The whole game is overhauled and there are many changes and additions to the puzzles from the original game. Also the Xen part was added to big time, where the original game xen was about 10% of the game, now it's almost more than 50%. You can also notice in the level design, the new parts in Xen are beautifully created and gameplay wise it's top notch.

I highly recommend this game to Halflife fans but also to shooter fans who never played the original, Also if you played Black Mesa a few years before, give it a new spin, there is lots that have changed for the better,

It's a great game, lots of stealth and hacking. A lot of secret areas to find and explore. I really liked it. Have played all previous deus-ex games as well. Can't wait for the next installment.

Overwhelming, like playing an interactive action movie. Very cinematic, very well executed.

Well, what is there to say about a 12 year old shooter. It's a dumbed down version of Fear 1, the enemies AI is not as good and satisfying as the first game. You don't play this game for its story, just play it if you want to have a brain-dead shooter.

Nostalgia

More an action game than a horror game, enjoyable anyway.

It is thought provoking. It's a very good game.

A really great horror game, it put me on tension all the time. Sad it's finished.
