Wilfred McCabe arrived on earth some eons ago when his physical essence filtered down from far off galaxies, taking upon various forms, mixing it up a bit every now and then. Lingering for awhile on the plateau of Leng while waiting for the apes to evolve, he eventually mingled among human society, generally without being detected, although the century he spent slowly digging out of his grave in Sweden was rather unpleasant and not something he'd care to repeat. Once computers were invented he became involved in the growing community of people who 'just didn't give a ♥♥♥♥' in the hope that when enough people joined, he would be able to manipulate them into taking control of the first FTL spacecraft and allow him to return home. This is probably still some time away. Until then he spends his time doing sweet FA as a procrastinator at the [REDACTED], bypassing security mechanisms on vending machines, and throwing rocks at smoking shelters from 6 stories up.
