This version is growing on me, with the quality of life improvements like queuing up actions and auto reseeding farms pushing me to recommend this game. However, some things I don't enjoy are the soulless UI, the way they changed the history music, and the mod browser. I am also somewhat jarred by the way they emphasise multiplayer much more than they did with HD and CD, or at least more in your face, however that is more my personal taste. All in all this is a good edition of AoE2, and it seems to be truly the 'definitive' edition in the eyes of the fanbase already.

Edit: I love how they abandoned AOE1 DE so they just decided to add the Romans to this one instead. Typical.

The UI looks terribly cheap, almost as if it was designed for a mobile game. Disappointing that they abandoned this so that they could instead remake it as an AoE2DE DLC. I know they want to drive Vietnamese sales for the other game, but come on.

I like everything about the game but the A.I is just brutal, maybe I'm ♥♥♥♥ at the game but I'd recommend you play it physically or on Tabletop Simulator with a friend instead of on this.

This just keeps on giving, really good for when you can't afford $100 per board gsme, or want to try before you buy. However, if you do like a game on there and it's not DLC, PLEASE buy the physical version if you have the money to support the original creators.

The game is also good to play with people who have terrible computers, as it can somehow run on a potato.

Easily the best Fallout game. Couldn't really get into the first two, 3 was linear and 4 felt too clunky (that may have been becuase I was playing on PS4 though). New Vegas is just right though.

I think the dev died in a Polish-Ukranian gang war.

Used to play this alot when I was a little kid, but the fast paced RTS genre hasn't really stuck with me. Still a great game.

I'm only giving this a thumbs up so that Paradox is encouraged to keep supporting this game. I'm a big fan of ancient history, and this game has the potential to become my most played game on steam, it just needs alot more work done on it.
