Really coming to enjoy this more and more as a decent and fair competitor to Civ, particularly in light of the recent release of Millennia. It's beautiful to look at, has great sound design, and uses some really quite fun unique mechanics and gameplay to set it aside from Civ while still satisfying that 4x itch and leaving you with a bad case of 'just-one-more-turn'.

Honestly the best zombie survival game out there.

Truth be told I don't know what to say exactly, rather I just wanted to contribute to the positive rating this game deserves, but here's some of my thoughts anyway: Very neat little game, I keep coming back to this either to sit down and play a few runs back to back, or just to fill a quick gap where I'm not sure what else to do: I just keep coming back. Really fun gameplay loop with simple yet diverse enough attacks that you can try a few different builds with varying effects which combined with a dash of RNG keeps things fresh and challenging. I'm not the best at this game but I can definitely see a clear path to learn and strategise owed to it being turn-based; you can really plan ahead in an almost chess-like manner and get some super satisfying combos.

At first I was unsure about this game but as you get past the first tutorial-like hurdles in the game, it can pick up and pique your interest more, I find that from my playing experience so far, it uses good game mechanics in it's turn based strategy and includes a great storyline - I would reccomend this to anyone who loves squad-based TBS' and/or is a fan of storylines. However it could be better in the sense that you dont use the mouse at all in game and rely purely on the keyboad but this is easy to adapt to.

Great game for a cheap price! It is almost perfect when matching your music to obstacles which is good. I find it quite fun, challenging and sometimes a good time killer.
