Un bon petit jeu avec un criss de bon vibe.

The game is actually pretty good, but also really different from DD1.

If you liked DD1 for the fighting gameplay and team building but didn't like the RNG; I think you will like this.

If you liked DD1 for the long term developpment of your crew and your Estate, for the punishing feeling of loosing a level 6 character in an expedition; you might not like DD2.

I really understand the bad reviews, I think people were expecting something more in line with DD1, but I'm honnestly really happy with having a similar (but better imo) combat system and a game more centered around it with a more standard roguelite meta progression.

The game is nice. But I can't accept the use of AI in any way shape or form within the context of creative production.
Even tho AI was only use for small things that are outside the game, I cannot support its normalization in our medium.

Great game for anyone that likes classical 3d action adventure games.
The gameplay is pretty well made, even tho it might have benifited from some more polish.

The story, setting and vibes are just perfect!
It really makes me wish more games explored the Cajun culture. Also makes me wish for a Compulsion to make a game using folklore from Québec.

I really liked Obsidian.
I really want to like their newer RPGs.
But everything since Pillars of Eternity 2 (beside Pentiement) just feels "meh".
I don't have much more to describe it, it's "meh".

Teams and directors must have changed to much for them to keep the "secret sauce".

Outer Worlds 2 is a very serviceable action RPG, with some interesting mechanics like the flaws, and with very acceptable action gameplay and exploration. But writing (like in Avowed) just feels to much "on the nose". I know it's kind of the point of this very satirical universe, but it ends up just feeling jarring, there's little subtlety and commentary on corporatism and authoritarianism is very shallow.

I can't help but feel acquisition by Microsoft has pushed Obsidian in a corner where they need to be safer and more general public.

Really, don't get that game full price.

Maybe once there's a big sale and you can get it around 20$ it would be worth. There's some good shooting gameplay and exploration. A couple of very nice and interesting concepts and vistas. But it's far from worth the money and time I spent on it, sadly.

There's some gems here and there (one of the god's artifact location really took me by surprise). The action gameplay really tries some interesting, rarely done, stuff with its black powder guns, magic, and melee combat.

The writing is very average for an Obsidian game. But the map design, exploration and general look of the game is pretty good.

I recommend it, with some reservation.
Maybe wait for a sell to get it for less than 40$ and you probably feel like it's well worth it.

Malgré le choix un peu malheureux de ne pas avoir utilisé les langues parlés des personnages diégétiquement tout au long du jeux.

Two Falls est une bon petit jeu avec beaucoup de coeur et un message positif pour le futur.
