Early Access Review
I've not played POE 1 (furthest I've gone is lvl 13 I believe), so if any of those things are already in that game/to be implemented in this one, ignore it. Also some of the obvious bugs like failed citadels that were cleared are not included.
Fix these issues/ add these features plese:
  • Would be incredible to have custom pins on endgame atlas map. Put them where we want, name them, and navigate the map fast through those pins (like quest list, but pin list. set their visibility on map corner like the pins we have for burning monolyth and player)
  • some instances (endgame) have insane lag spikes.
  • make switchable auto-aim (it's on by default, can't turn off)
  • on controller some skills have auto-aim, even though I am directing both sticks in another direction
  • on controller some skills stop casting on enemy death (even though the hotkey is still not released)
  • I want to reduce transparency, or change the color of friendly spells/effects (these include shrine effects, friendly npc modifiers like the ones in expedition, other player skills)
  • I want my character to scream their lungs out when standing in burning ground, other damaging on-ground effects
  • add a feature for the reforging bench to mass reforge some things like distilled emotions, catalysts, essences, etc (I understand that different reforging instances produce different things, but they can be put in player inventory if enough space or until it's full)
  • If blink is set on a single wepon set out of 2, add an option to always attempt switching to that weapon and using it, idk how to call this one
  • For Sekhema challenge, implement a UI icons for the map that show distinct Room type and the room effects like ailments/buffs other than reward types.
  • For both Sekhemas I would love having some reroll feature for room affliction/type/rewards for water.
  • For the Chaos trials, it would also be cool to have some sort of single-use reroll for the affliction choice, but I guess that would make things easier. (also remove/speed up that one room where you need to follow the floating statue)
  • Add a tablet modifier that reduces the tower influence range, but increases the tablet's modifier by the %radius reduced. (or implement it as another droppable item, like a booster)
  • There is a map landscape transparency option. In addition to that, it would be nice to have a different tint to accessible/inaccessible areas of the map for easier navigation.
  • Would be nice if we could (re)allocate corrupted amulets, mb with the help of additional item that enables that
  • Auction house would be cool. Not gonna explain this one.
  • A dummy on which to test dps on would be great. (Xesht doesn't count)
  • Similar idea with map pins, but for the premium stash tabs. (Marking certain items with different border colors or something like that)
  • (sorry if already exists) A setting for interactable things like Boulders in "Decay" layout (or even Map Device) to have their names always displayed.
  • A setting to prioritize seeing the ground over seeing the full architecture (I am talking about things like trees/buildings with interior obstructing vision, not rendering the enemies behind them)
  • Sometimes runic monsters cast their attacks before becoming vulnerable (similar to what was going on with simulacrum enemies before the patch)
  • Add some cool strongbox-only uniques, otherwise I doubt anyone will interract with them. (or add things like essences, jewels, corrupted tablets to their pool, idk)
  • Make different sprites for corrupted full-mod maps that have either: Only prefixes, Only suffixes or 6x of both.
  • when moving big items like wepons or body armor in quad tabs, the item sprite blocks out the actual placement view
  • When inviting people from chat, the "invite player" button is sometimes not interractable (I suspect because the chat space with user input is in the way)
  • When you refund passives to take a different path that ends on the same node, while also replacing the jewels something insanely weird happens that I can not exactly describe in short terms. It shows that like both paths are taken but also unavailable?? idk, but the path seems to work correctly. (if you have that, refund all the points, then exit the refund window. Then open the regular passive tree, not one through refund)
  • When you have an item deferred in a ritual menu, if you then progress another character through the quest where you first interract with rituals, that deferred item is lost (I believe that's what happened to me, could be wrong but this needs investigating)
  • As of writing this list, right now there isn't a unique map that is even half as good as any other league mechanic. (talking about Untainted Paradise, Treasure vaults of something)

That's all folks (for now). The game is incredible, hope the GGG team can deliver us updates soon. (Please hire me, I code on C/C++, Java, Python, worked with relational databases like postgresql and even NoSQL like MongoDB and neo4j. Wrote backend on Spring maven, Jango. Won competitive programming olympiads. I'm sure there are other things I can't recall rn, but I am a fast learner, currently doing masters degree but have no experience working in a professional environment other than my own projects on the side. Am willing to relocate. Best thing would be if you told me what I need to learn, and have me as an intern).

I played 3 hours of this game, didn't finish the tutorial still. Feeling like a game journalist. 10/10, has a little something for everyone. (Seriously though, this game needs like a separate demo with just the tutorial, so people understand wtf they getting themselves into)

Just now enemy said we only had 1 minute to finish the game. After a minute the server crashed and the game erased from mm history as it was never there. Thought I was playing Titanfall for a second, definitely recommend

Manage your resources carefully and you will be fine as f2p. Don't spend gems on 10x summons, use them for bundles that give more scrolls and bags capacity. Tip, to know who to pull for, just open the "Monster forum" in the book tab of any given monster to see the user ratings for that monster. Only use monster shards to upgrade skills, don't use for evolve unless skills are maxed out.

There is an enemy that bleeds a liquid which can teleport you in the direction of your cursor.

I shot him a few times,
they teleport on me, bleed all over my face
I get teleported to small enemies that multiply on death, which made a quick work of my health bar.


Here's another one, theres an enemy that shoots fireballs and bleeds LAVA
It flies above me, bleeds, and as I try to put out the flames with water, the lava around me turns to rock, while the lava below me continues to burn me to death.


Between restarts and the harsh world where (every pixel is physically simulated) every pixel can and is actively trying to kill you, there are lots of secrets, and some claim that there is even lore here, but even after watching multiple lore and secret explanations on the internet, I still don't understand anything.

The secrets in this game are incredible, a minor spoiler, but you can evencreate a sun or a blackhole, but I will not tell you how to do that though, and those aren't even the most interesting secrets. The main dungeon, the cave is like 20% or even less of all the other different biomes that you can find if you are curious enough.

Overall I rate this game 10 skill issues out of 10 polymorphine pixels

*Battle it for an hour*

*After wasting all the materials on fixing the ship, the megalodon just fled and quest restarted*
