As it stands now, I would not recommend this revamped version of Ark to anyone. It is plagued with bugs, fatal errors, and disconnection problems... Even on a single player game. Graphics out the box are beautiful standing still, but frames drop almost instantly when you try to even move or turn suddenly. After dumbing down the settings to medium, limiting framerate to 60 FPS, and a myriad of other setting adjustments my 2080ti/9900k can finally achieve a steady 55 FPS on 1080x1920.... Only to play for 5 minutes at a pop to get a fatal error out of no where. In the coming weeks, as updates roll out, I'll update this review. Glad the rework is done, but this is by far a polished product.

Edit: As of Nov. 3, 2023 I was able to play the game on single player seamlessly with no crashes and averaging 80 FPS for 8 hrs. straight. Whatever updates have been rolling out since the games launch have been phenomenal with optimization. I am changing my review to recommended. Good job devs! Keep it up! Looking forward to what this game becomes!

Great game! Even BETTER with the plethora of mods available in the workshop. Great to play solo, but better with friends... Just stay away from official servers though, gets pretty toxic over there...

Great game! Updates as of late have been tremendously good! DLC's are worth getting as well! Would recommend to anyone.

Thought this was a fun game for like the first 50 hrs of grinding, Then reality sinks in, the more you learn about this game, the more you hate it, and by that point, you've probably spent money on one of their shard packs. Don't do it. Look up Websters definition of GARBAGE and you'll find this game. Play a real game, not this ported mobile cash grab nonsense.
