A great horror game where you have means of defense.
Your gun is your best friend in the zone. Keep it wel maintained.

The game expertly recaptures the feeling, gameplay and setting of the origenal. Not only that, it takes many community ideas and some mods within it.
It's a vast open area around the mythical Chornobyl set in current(ish) times.
The disaster happened as in our time but in 2006 -something*- happens that leads to the creation of The Zone. The Zone is a place where physics does not follow the rules anymore and is able to create strange and interesting anomalies and artifacts.
Many factions came to the zone for each their own reason... Just like Skiff arrives for his own.

Grab a gun and I hope you like spam, bread and sausage, there's not much luxery for a STALKER in the zone.

* It's a spoiler for the first game and the expansions on how the zone was created that is a good story and gives much background in the current game.

A very good Space RTS game that hold up against the test of time.

If you loved rollcage you will love this.

If you like Wipeout but want it more agressive, this is what you have been looking for.

If you want a great modern arcade driving game ... Yep this is it.

You are pretty much racing high speed tanks!

This game will suck the time out of your life. It is very fun with friends AND alone, i can only recomend it!

As a Homeworld fan I can tell you that this game is in line with the lore and gamplay it is a wonderfull adaptation from 3d of the space strategy to 2d.

The storyline is something that a lot of RTS games would be jealous of with intrigue, deception and all out rivalry.

For RTS fans this should a must have as the strategy in this game can go very far.

There are some controle issue, as example your weaker units tend to go up front which means they get damaged very quick. This needs some micromanagment. As a folowup of that your support/repair vessel is all the way in the back so you have to command them closer.

The origenal homeworld games had the possibility to assign groups of ships a certain setup ( Cap ships in front, Fighter screen, frigate line or cruiser line ) which can help a lot in soaking damage, next to that the setups would imrpove effeciency of the selected ship setup.

This comes back to the controle issues as it would help a lot!

Everything accounted for, I would still 100% recomend this as a buy, especially for an RTS fan.

It is a wonderfull story and continuation of the Borderlands franchise.

Wel worth the money i paid for it.

Came late in the game but I was watching forward to that last episode and it was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worth it.

Story decisions flow well into eachother and there is almost always an answer to your liking.

I've only played the origenal Homeworld 2, it was a glorious game.

This is thus far one of the few good remakes they have done for old games. Granted they took the old storyline but that storyline did not need any improvement, for a space rts it was perfect and it all clicked.

I love that they only redone the graphics, I loved that they asked the origenal game creators to join them because if you play the game and have played the homeworld games way back you will notice, it has only helped this game be good.

All time recomendation.

Has a lot of grand theft auto elements in it but improves on a lot of aspects. The map isn't that open but there are enough area's to visit... Well, after all, it is set in hong kong.

It has enough gameplay in it to keep yourself sweet for a couple of days and it has a lot of gameplay.

- Melee: check
- Guns: check
- Cars: check ( or motorcycles, your choice )
- Parkour: check ( wonderfull movement system )
...

Next to all that it has a wonderfull story of an undercover cop, but you don't feel like a cop. Watch out you still have the mission of a cop. This is no generic shoot em up story, this is worthwile.

Not your typical mmo.

The game is so big a quick review is not possible. The player base will help you if you ask, player interaction will always happen, 99% player base market, ...

You have to make your own content, this is nothing like World of Warcraft or any of that kind of mmo.

If you make enough ingame money in game you can pay your sub with that, but to reliable earn enough money to pay for it it will take a few months.
