Okay, let's start with Starfield, it's not Baldur's Gate 3, it's not No Man's Sky and it's not Mass Effect.
Stop comparing the games, it's useless.
They are all RPGs or have something to do with space but they are all trying something different.
Nobody complains that you can't fly the Normandy yourself in Mass Effect.
No one complains that in No Man's Sky there are little to no RPG elements and no facial animations at all.
No one complains that in Baldur's Gate 3 you can't go anywhere you want (i.e. where the story doesn't take you).
Game developers have different goals of what the game should be and can't do everything.
Otherwise you end up with whatever Star Citizen is.
What Bethesda has said and shown is all here but what people have dreamed of is just not there.

So now to the game.
The game runs pretty well for me, for what it renders, stable 70 FPS.
I'm in the upper percentile when it comes to my PC.
But I would also play Starfield with only 30 FPS - I did that in Fallout 4.

Gunplay: is good not many improvements to Fallout but it does what it should.
Graphics: can be seen I don't know what people have. But I'm not someone who looks so much at the graphics.
Story: the main story doesn't blow anyone away, but it brings you into the universe and that's all it needs to do.
Where Starfield gets really good in the story are the side quests, but that's already common practice with Bethesda.
Other things: The ship building is great, I had a lot of fun building my ship and then being able to enter it and see it when it would launch.

So where there is good there is unfortunately also bad
Bugs: There are less than other Bethesda games at launch but still some.
Unfortunately, there is a lot that repeats itself when you land somewhere on a planet.
To be honest, the planets should be much emptier.
The beginning of Starfield is not really thrilling you have to play 3-5 hours to get to the point where it clicks but once it has you it doesn't let you go so quickly.

Now two things I often hear
Loading screens: the game should and must be installed on an SSD. The longest loading screen I have seen was 3 seconds. So don't be like that, because there aren't that many loading screens.

Price: I also often hear that aaah 70 euros super expensive. Yes, it is if you only look at the price. If you consider that 60 Euros is the price of full-price games for a long time and you take inflation into account, then games should cost 90 Euros for a long time.

All in all I would give Starfield 83/100 the game has problems but it is pretty damn good.
