Hearts of Iron 4. This game has nearly endless replay value, allowing you to play as literally any nation you want during world war 2. Want to take over the world as Bhutan? Completely possible. Not to mention this game has a stellar modding community, producing amazing mods like Old World Blues, Millennium Dawn and last but certainly not least Kaiserreich. If you ever find this game and its dlcs on discount, its an absolute steal.

But that's just based on singleplayer. Multiplayer (which can be played with supporting mods) is a whole other beast. Multiplayer is where true strategy comes in and where communication between teammates is absolutely vital. One teammate messing up can cost an entire game to be lost, so pay attention and think before you act. Its also important to remember some people take the game very seriously, up to the point they get toxic. While I find people screaming over their microphones funny, I know many do not, so beware of the toxic side of the Hearts of Iron Community. But all in all, multiplayer still manages to be an enjoyable, fun experience.
