BACKWARDS DOLPHIN DIVING: INNOVATION AT ITS FINEST

DISCLAIMER: I did not pay attention to any of the marketing for this game which probably heavily impacted my opinion.

In a way, the game is too big for its own good. There's a great game here, but at the end of the day, its a Bethesda game. You have more choice, better role play and game mechanics than FO4 and Skyrim as well as just having more to do; but that's not saying much as both FO4 and Skyrim were very shallow games. There is a ton of content here to get lost in, but not all of it is deep and complex, as with many Bethesda games. I'll even be honest here and say that I think FO4 and Skyrim are unbearable without mods and that this game is an exception to that personal rule.

To be quite frank, it seems that what a lot of people wanted is a Fallout New Vegas grade story, No Man's Sky exploration, Fallout 4 level city building, Minecraft level procedural generation and photo realistic graphics. This game is not a unicorn space sim. Its a Bethesda game which is entirely unique and well executed, but it is not a genre breaking title in the slightest.

I haven't felt satisfied at the end of a campaign in years until I played through this game. If you really want to feel cathartic at the end, play it on legendary and you won't be dissapointed.

Urban Neoliberal Utopia Simulator:

- High crime rates combined with insanely high property values? Just slap another precinct in the city and incarcerate poor people.
- Evict hundreds of people without repatriation to build a needlessly gigantic stadium with no political consequences whatsoever.
- Force highway traffic to go through your toll booths to use toll money towards building more vanity projects for rich people.
- Dump the waste of 100,000+ people down the river for the next city/town to deal with.
- Kick out industrial workers, evict them and destroy an entire generation's way of life to pave the way for rich yuppies.
- Budget issues? Cut all funding to the bare minimum needed to supply the people with police, water and sewage. Don't worry about education spending, you can use then evict the uneducated after you "balance the budget".

10/10. Will NYC and LA again.

I was first drawn in to Wizard 101 by a close friend of mine. By far, it was the worst mistake of my life. Mere moments after opening the game, my brain melted out of my ears as I screamed into the abyss that is Wizard 101. My life has been forever changed. I have lost my wife, my kids and my dog as they can no longer stand my incoherent ramblings about Wizard 101 and its unending paywalls. The tutorial killed me. Gamers discretion advised.
