great attention to detail

Incredibly solid game. This is my 4th playthrough of the game (3 of those have been on ps4) and the amount of depth to this game suprises me more and more every time. Good character development, however (with notable exceptions such as Rachel and Samuel), the characters are a bit stiff and lack personality. The storyline is engaging but far from perfect but the twist is somewhat unexpected and takes the game into a very interesting direction. The things that keep me replaying this game since my first playthrough however are the incredibly gripping time/rewind sequences. Specifically the "bad dream"sequence in episode 5 as well as the "realities where William doesnt die" sequence.

This game advertises itself as very story intensive and should be critiqued as one. Whilst it is still a game and has some gameplay issues (i.e buggy and robotic feeling movement as well as terrible lip synching) these issues hold little weight when compared to the narrative related issues. Still an incredible experience (just for the aforementioned rewind sequences alone) especially given the fact it goes on sale frequently and is cheap

would recommend on the basis that you pick it up heavily discounted. I did and for the price it was satisfactory. The gunplay feels ok, mobs are somewhat challenging, but is very repetitive. If you intend on purchasing this game at full price, I would not recommend it
