In its current state, the game is great fun with friends. we have actually been shouting at each other "its only 5.2 gig!

some of the environments are stunningly dark - water and red light areas etc. proper spooky.
gameplay is limited in what missions you have due to EA but its a fantastic starting point and i really hope they just work on expansion. For example something like SCP creatures and more weapons etc.
ive only experienced 3 of the creatures currently but they are great and very different from each other.

basically i want more haha.

thoroughly enjoying this game and looking forward to its future. fantastic effort by developers.

6.1 hours in a day.
immensely good fun with a group of friends. We all settled into our roles very quickly.
I myself was pilot and Captain, as i'm just amazing and naturally skilled in space combat.
first mate was gunnery officer.
second and third mates were supporting role/boarding party.

The demo itself covers all the basics you need. the missions are good fun and the difficulty is good.
i had no performance issues at all. only "issues" i did find were difficulty in placing things on shelves once and a friend couldn't use the gunnery seat once.

flying is a little janky but easily doable.
the "world effects/events like solar flare or asteroid storm were great and actually come from certain directions. solar flare from the closest star you can see etc.
i will absolutely purchase this game when it becomes available and im really looking forward to its future.

This is a wonderful game with an absolute mountain of things to do.
Ive played this a lot with a friend of mine on a private server and it was a great experience. The secret is to just take your time.

My playthrough.
I built many ships of medium tier. with these ships i used matching designs for different fleets. I ended up with 5 or 6 dedicated trade ships, 8 to 10 mining ships, 4 large battleships and 1 fleet flagship. All were warhammer 40k themed as you can apply designs from steam workshop.

i also built, deployed, defended, moved to different star systems, a variety of space stations which are also custom design. I built a space brewery and supply chain which was nice.
these can be automated to an extent. so while i manually controlled my flagship, as its MY ship, i had battleships and scouts deployed or escorting me. others salvaging the wrecks of my enemies while i carried out repairs, miners bringing in resources and trade vessels completing large scale trades to fund my space station insurance, building, crew wages etc.

i captured large asteroids and converted them into sidderent types of mine depending on what products were required in the "local space area"

I created an alliance fleet with my friend and established good diplomatic relations with some other AI factions. i also gained territory and went to war with some other factions.

There is honestly so much to do you can make this game yours and play however you wish.
A wonderful game and one i will remember with fondness. Ill give it a break for now but i will be playing again.

you want to spread the work of the emperor but your friends think thats weird....a mate of mine shouted democaracy at me out his car window and freaked some randoms out. will bring democracy again.

most fun ive had with a game in a long time.
comparing the price and the amount of fun to other games released within the last few years..... this wins by a mile.
absolutely worth it.

I really enjoyed this game. I had so much fun building massive bases, driving a giant crab monster vehicle about the place, flew to a planet, etc.However the enjoyment was in the "knowledge" that this game was not complete and updates were to come.

A false hope.

Declared "finished" by the devs when this game is most definitely not finished. Its in a worse state than some of the previous releases actually.

An absolute shame as the game was fun, spooky, full of potential.

It is now abandoned. Ill miss the time i spent playing this but its just not worth throwing money into an abandoned project. You will feel very quickly it just needs a little bit more when it actually requires, and promised, so much more.

Do not buy the game friends.

This game is an absolute gem. Primarily PvE - it can be switched (by each players own choice) to PvP
Graphics are acceptable - its own style. they are not bad! look at the images etc. i like them. Playing in 4k :)
Understanding the games progression is simple. Well guided by a big black chicken.
Coop - local server so only grief is from your mates.
Seeded maps - each server is different.
Character transfer - you can use the same character for all your servers.
Building your home - simple system to figure out. works really well too. ive made a little fort which is the envy of the estate haha
Bugs - none. like...none at all. just joy so far.

The game fills an amount of joy that ive not had with other, much larger, survival games. I'm looking forward to many more hours of playing this.

It really is a great game. Well done. Love it.

This really feels, and looks, like it should be a mobile game and not for pc.

The best thing i've figured out so far is that if you skip the tutorial, you can choose who you want in your first squad! I figured this out after completing the tutorial on a previous attempt and being unable to continue as the chat from your squad is so bad. As in I just really hated them as characters. Its like a child trying to be ''super cool''.

The games look is of Anime / comic book style and writing. It appears silly compared to previous Xcom. When leaving for a mission for example the APC does a silly wiggle and the forward axle comes apart from the main body of the APC. Mega G forces happening with that. Units would be sea sick on arrival to any mission site.

The breach idea is... nice... Problem is you're breaching with no information as to who or what is in the room. So I may be breaching but I’m the one being surprised and not really having a plan. Just get in there, see where the game puts me, and click shoot. Far more tactical techniques could easily be carried out in Xcom 2. Setting up and triggering stealth overwatch ambushes etc. One idea is that it would be better if you could get mission scans prior to departure that tell you a rough number of people/troops to expect. Would also help me feel better about the mission prep and what I’m sending my team into. As in I’ve brought the right guys and the right equipment to complete the job safely.

It feels nothing like previous xcom games. Trying to be super funny and down with the kids.
I really want to enjoy this game but I’m playing through a cartoon which doesn’t have anywhere near the magic or atmosphere of the previous games. A bomb has just been used to assassinate the first freely elected mayor of the city, whom you were in charge of protecting. You just get a ''there there princess it'll be ok'' and a pat on the head. The atmosphere of the game makes me really not care about the starting reason of the games story - ''Democracy in a world freed of its alien rulers is now at risk''. Which is quite important i think. After the first mission id already forgotten that were actually doing an investigation of gangs getting advanced weapons etc.

Good:
Breaching (ish) but need more information to even feel like a slightly maybe almost elite unit
bright colours
Prime VIP's being detonated are no problem.

Bad:
The characters are super annoying...like really.
Cartoon/anime character and menu style etc
No real character customisation.
When your people are facing certain death they're cracking jokes and being super happy. I find myself just wanting them to die so they will shut up for a bit.
It just feels so restricted in gameplay. It just feels a small game right from the start.

This game is xcom for kids.
Just get war of the chosen as its sooo much more in every way.

The best thing about this game is the toxic community and making their games miserable. The rage is hysterical. I like to just follow one of them around until they blow a fuse.
Other than that its the same map painted different colours and then you just have a bunch of peeps to choose from. And that is dota really. I mean 1 map? come on that’s boring and just creates repetition, not skill etc.

I actually use this to describe any games I don't like as they may be too dota-ry. Overwatch for example is just dota with less to do and in first person.

If you are attempting to play the game for first time your friends will have to sacrifice many hours of their time/tell you what hero and equipment to buy. Then you just click a couple of times and boom. dunzo.

I will add that during my trolling of toxic people I am the perfect gentleman.

Space Ninjas with Magic!

This is, by a country mile, one of the greatest games available at the moment.
Constant support and a willingness to listen to the players.
Regular updates and information about these updates.

The game is gorgeous. - Particle effects, character models (warframes), Environments and objects. All fantastically rendered and put together. I'm playing 4k and everything on max... Its mint.
I have been playing this game on and off for years. Much better with friends but you can easily find a team to complete missions if you would LIKE to. The game will be more difficult but it is entirely possible to play on your own.

There are obviously micro-transactions as how else can a free game make money and survive?
I have invested a small fortune into this game as i really want to keep it going into the far future. I want to stress however that every single one of my purchases have been entirely my choice and have not been required to complete any section of the game. In fact they have confused me at times and made me miss things out!

Warframe has missions that range from the chilled out running through and stealth to the utterly magnificent and beautiful chaos of going guns blazing with friends. (Explosions and particles and other strange things everywhere) Sometimes all you can do is hold the trigger and laugh away.

Every warframe available is different. The abilities and as a result the style of play for each are different. This does not restrict you however. You are not restricted in way of your equipment. So you can use your favourite weapons (rifle, pistol, sword, etc) with any Frame and then use/learn the abilities of that frame as you like. You can apply upgrades to your frames and weapons that apply different effects when you mix them.
For example on my favourite frame, INAROS, he has an ability which stuns everyone in front of him and this opens them up for a critical strike. I have a melee weapon which, when it crits people, gives me a small heal. Inaros only has health (lots of it) and so i just melee like a loony and keep on going. Great fun. (He can also turn into a tornado and it makes me laugh every time. Just go swirling into a massive group of enemies and see them all flying about. Super fun chaos)

Easy to pick up and fun to play. ITS FREE. Stunning game with a great community. There is also loads of stuff to keep you interested and busy for hours and hours and hours. They also keep adding more!

Download it and give it a go with your friends. Since its free you can just uninstall it anyway and your no worse off than before. Best day.
10/10 will tornado again.

This game is so much better than PUBG or Fortnite..by a huge physics bamboozled mile.

This game is just good honest fun. It features:
Small amount of character customisation - ranges from homeless to ninja to frenchman
ridiculous physics - the deployment feature makes me laugh every time. #braceforlanding
large selection of weapons AND you can actually hit what you're aiming at - sometimes not possible in PUBG for example
You can enter as a party with your buddies
Its serious fun.

Against at the moment:
If playing solo you are in the same game world as groups
there have been server issues - but there are loads of rapidfire patches happening all the time to sort this out

This game is great. Its been along time since ive found a game that is just good honest fun.
Play this with your friends and you will have a laugh. If you dont laugh i guess you are just a horrible person.
Superb game.
