Extremely fun so far. Story is way better than BL3. The movement is the best borderlands has ever seen. The gun play is fantastic. The guns are fantastic. The characters are great. I could go on and on.

However, it has its performance problems like all Unreal Engine 5 games; hopefully they can sort them out soon. The extent of the performance issues in my case are slight stutters when loading new areas and some weird network lag when playing with people. With an i7-1200k, 32 GB 3600 MT/s and a 4070 ti super I get around 78-90 FPS on medium high settings with DLSS quality. When the game is not loading new areas, it is a very smooth and stable frame rate.

Overall I highly recommend. This is the most fun I've had in a game in a good while.

The game is fine, everyone that is whining about the DLC's is a clown. The DLC's simply do not matter. You can earn all that stuff in game, in a completely reasonable amount of time. They are a pointless cash grab that you can 100% ignore and not be impacted even in the slightest. This is absolutely not new behavior from CAPCOM; it's about the same as whining that water is wet every time it rains...

The real issue with the game is the performance. It's absolutely abysmal, and honestly I can't recommend the game only for that reason. Once the performance is fixed, then it's an easy recommend.

For example, I have an EVGA RTX 3060, i7 12700k, and 32 GB RAM @ 3600MT/s. Playing on 1080p at absolute minimum settings, DLSS quality (some people DLSS makes performance worse, for my system it makes it ever so slightly better), and no RT. I get about 55 - 75 FPS in the open world with micro drops; it does not feel like a good 55-75, very rough. But then I go into any small-medium city or populated area and drop to 30 - 45 FPS, feeling even worse. The big drop is going into large cities where I'll drop to 15 - 25 FPS. Disgusting performance. Please fix!

The game itself is fantastic. Interesting story, extremely fun combat and good progression system. It's just the performance that's holding it all back. For now, I have to say not recommended even though the game itself is probably an 8.5 to 9.5 out of 10.

Sad...

Overall it's a mediocre game. I do not recommend spending your time in this game, for any amount of money.

3.5/10

Very good RPG. Extremely fun. Nostalgia factor 100. It's up there in terms of enjoyment and entertainment compared to Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and The Witcher 3. The game feels huge if you take it slow and get as many collectibles as possible. As well as doing all available side missions. I'm barely 1/4 or 1/3 through the game.

One fantastic feature is that there are actually rewards for finding collectibles, which is something I rarely, if ever, see in other games. Another is that you can choose the apperance of whatever you're wearing. So you keep the stats of the good items, but they can look however you want, a simple feature, but a necessity for a loot-based RPG.

Depending on modding support, this may be my favorite single player game of all time. As it stands now, it's definitely in my top 3.

Add new game+ please!

9/10.

Portal 1 was a masterpiece and portal 2 is better... what does this make it? Masterpiece^2 i guess

This game takes place between 200-40,000 years after Portal 1 and sheds light on the abandoned part of the Aperture labs which is just massive. People have estimated the size to be 2km^3 in size which is just wild.

I'm having a great time so far. One fantastic thing about this game over BF4 is the way you unlock attachments. It's 100% based on progression versus having to get certain attachments through loot boxes.

This game is a masterpiece, it can be tedious at times but overall it's fantastic, and the way they have integrated open-world with the closed campaign is spectacular. The story in my opinion is quite good and makes for a good fit for the halo universe, the ending is also quite good.Their take on having cool exploits for speed running and general game fun is great. Forge is not out yet, but I am hoping it will be great and the community will make some awesome game modes and maps. Overall this game gets a 9/10. No game is perfect.
