Enjoyable game about collecting pieces of rope to climb down a well whilst figuring out the surrounding dark story. Can be completed in a couple of hours. I feel as though the puzzles and getting 100% were well balanced. Honestly the only thing I had to bother looking up was the safe combination (which I knew was the date, but blindly kept getting the year wrong). Other than my own incompetence with the safe, all the weak rope pieces are pretty obvious, and the ways to go about obtaining the other stronger pieces are well documented in the game itself from the notes you come across.

Bit of a sad story is unraveled, but it kept me interested enough to see every ending and actually get 100%.

Cute kitty game for free :3. Really nice ambiance with some items in the backgrounds too and of course all the wonderful kitty noises. I just had to buy the 2nd level and wishlist all the future titles to support the kitties!

Completely rolled over my smiths points slots into the negatives and now none of his points give levels anymore. Thanks for just completely wasting hours of time into grinding items to spend for ♥♥♥♥ all.

At the bottom of the store page is an 'Awards' Section which quotes the following: "This game was ranked 2009's most popular Xbox Live Indie Game and sold over 300,000 copies within a year. It instantly became a favorite with critics, and was noted for its quirky sense of humor and theme song. IGN ranked it the best independent game of 2009 with Erik Brudvig stating the game was extremely entertaining and "somehow about as insane as its title".
I Made a Game with Zombies in It! also won the 2009 Inside Gaming Award for Best Indie Game."

Being a kid and actually getting this for $1 back then on Xbox was a lot of fun. Much more difficult then for a pre-teen compared to only taking one attempt today. However, I noticed it was free and immediately remembered it and it's silly theme song. Short little progressive shooter with some powerups, different enemies, and most memorable of all it's theme song about the game..

Really enjoyable game for a variety of reasons. Played the demo one night and immediately bought the game afterwards simply because I wanted more. I really enjoy the simplistic look of the UI and the slow-paced difficulty scaling with each new floor that gets unlocked. I also must add that the essence system was a pleasant surprise to unlock and certainly made for many more complex decisions during higher floors.

Personally, I feel that some of the wording in the descriptions of items can be a little confusing, especially when it comes to a few of the essences and the arrows in particular. It took me a very long time to realize that the arrows actually affect every symbol in the row its pointing to, and not just the one adjacent to it.

The game really does a great job of fulfilling the craving of "just one more" and I think is fairly balanced for what it currently offers. When I first started playing, I was expecting to reset within the first few spins if I didn't get the symbols I wanted, however this was something I learned relatively quickly that the system can really offer anything to change the game around. I found myself surprisingly finishing higher floors thanks to strategic decisions such as skipping, or holding symbols; when I was sure they would end up in a loss.

I also want to emphasize just how much the tips in the emails help. The one for keeping symbols around ~23 seriously helped me and really makes the game far more strategic, the tip for unlocking a specific item on floor 7 etc. The later floors especially with all of the consistent 'duds' that would get added really make for much more decisive gameplay.

There are several different builds that can really turn into some great times. Some of the ones I remember the most from my time playing were: Multiple Eldritch Beasts, Card Sharks, Witches/Moons/Bunnies, Miners/Ores/Golems/Dames, Arrows/Robin Hood, Divers/Farmers, There are plenty more, but these were some that I really remember taking off.

Took around ~24 ingame hours to beat all 15 current floors with some ranging from 25 attempts to first trying others. Many different builds to get through the game with a lot of replay value. I was genuinely saddened by the lack of unlocking another floor when I beat 15; However, I am looking forward to all of the future updates :).
