Imperator: Rome is a great game! Sadly the developers have abandoned it in favor of adding more useless content in other games. I'm looking at you City Skylines 2. Without community support this game would be completely dead. However, the grand strategy community has come together to bring awareness to this hidden gem. This game has great potential to become one of Paradox's great hits similar to that of HOI4 and EU4. Sadly it is unlikely to happen. The game has the foundation of a fun game. It just needed more time to cook.
