This game has in no way worsened over time. With mods and additional content, you can bring the game up to the latest standards, making it even more fun to play. The story is simply great, just like the unique voice of Nico Bellic.

A really great strategy game for beginners. Thanks to Age of History 2, I ventured into the strategy game genre, and it was definitely not a mistake.

Although I played it on the PS4 back then, and not for very long, I really had a lot of fun. Playing it on PC is obviously even more enjoyable due to the better graphics, higher frame rates, and so on. I also really love stories, and a game like this is just perfect for that. The rounds do feel a bit too long for me personally, but overall, the game is solid. I would rate it a 7/10.

Great Game

I’ve played through the story a second time, and well, what can I say – it’s just a great story-driven game. Now, I’m working through the DLCs and farming achievements. I can definitely recommend it.

Well, what can I say, the game is a 4/5. Why?

The building system is really nice, and it’s a lot of fun to create things. The hells and bunkers are also great, just like the inventory, though it starts to lag when you open it. But the game is still in early access.

What I really dislike about the game is the ending, the performance, and the fact that there aren’t enough things on the map. The map is four times larger than its predecessor, yet there’s not much to explore. I would definitely recommend the game, but it’s more of a building simulator with survival features.

I hope the ending gets reworked and more things are placed on the map. Sadly, not all storylines are resolved, and I really miss having an end boss.

I’d say, pick up the game if you enjoy building and some survival elements, but don’t expect too much from the story, or else you’ll be disappointed.

Very good game, I love it. I played through it 10 times on PS4 back in the day and once on PC with mods. I had to leave this review now because Sons of the Forest is out, and that’s going to be played a lot now.

A solid game for when you need something to play in between.
