Guess I am just not the type of people who would enjoy this game as much as others. This is actually my first vote down to a game. I hardly make bad choice in buying any games because I only buy games that has high popularity with good reviews. But sadly, this one does not make me think it worth the dollars I spent.

As a RTS maybe I am just comparing it with other top-notches that I got at sale price. Star Craft, War Craft, Age of Empire, Red Alert and such, some of them were way better than what I get from this one. Maybe I just had too high of an expectation after hearing about this game too many times. Well I wish I could give this a 4/5 or 3/5 where all the other games I reviewed gets 5/5, but Steam only has vote up or down.

First to talk about the good part about this game:

1. The EC/data driven development allows billion zombies to be possible, amazing, but only in terms of technical perspective, as game play its just okay.
2. Its a RTS where you can deal with zombies, there many zombie mods for other RTS games, but this one made it official.
3. Its a RTS where you can pause, great improvement to single player RTS for future audience!



Now the things I really feel not wanted to play and why:

1. Bad design in the control, I had double monitor and my mouse always gets outside of the screen when I try to move my camera side-wards. There is a zoom which is great, but its anchored from the center of the map rather than where my cursor points, feels quirky. Many of the control just feels quirky in general.

2. Cheap designs in hero, level up and technology tree. Its that you are at level 1 killing level 1 pawns, and level 100 killing level 100 pawn thing, your hero does not have active skills nor items, and the passives are repetitive.

3. Bad design in campaign, UI and many places. Things are just quirky, after your failed a mission your score gets reduced for the rest of the campaign, its terrible for beginners who have never played that map, not everyone want to grind the same story over and over again.

The mission where you control one hero needs to scavenge for items, but these items are scattered in the map, mixed with non-interactable ones and are extremely boring to find. Along with a hero that only has boring passive skills, these missions can be such a torture. The lore was mediocre, its not a big deal until the game itself is boring, now makes the campaign unbearable to play.

4. Bad design in buildings. The resource management and building system is quirky, forces you to scatter stuff all around, after your base is all-scattered, zombies attacks you from all over the place. I enjoyed the zombie-defense game to kill zombies in choke-points, not to ask for them to harass me out from no where all the time. I am also not a big fan of finding stuff in the trash scattered around the world for a purpose.

Besides that, the cheap design all over the place also happens in buildings, where its just a bunch of un-thoughtful level up counterparts, and some wonders, which are okay. The entire system is un-interesting and hard to make fun of.

So yeah overall, imo the game is too cheaply designed. Its okay and can be playable when I am extremely bored, but is definitely overrated in a world right now with all kind of good games out there.

This game is great in all aspects:

Storyline delivers heavy emotions and is intriguing while leaving room for fantasies, feels like reading a great science fiction but with interactions and discoverable secret.
The system exerts just the right amount of stress, to keep motivation while not painful to play at all along with its many interesting gameplay mechanics.

Definately worth the time and money to whom loves such simulation type of games.

宫崎英高说DLC只有宁姆格福的大小,但是他没说有三层错综复杂的相连地形,总的来说还是值回票价的。新武器技能酷炫,新BOSS招式多样,不过难度也是人均疯狗,有些设计上能明显感到恶意。有些BOSS的招式估计是从变态MOD里找的灵感,鬼畜的让人无语,天上下咒娃雨也是够地狱的,不过没有大面积咒死毒池还是差点意思。

很多人都在骂数值,骂难度,骂恶意,骂鬼畜疯狗BOSS,但这不都是魂游传统吗?都玩过本体的人了对这款游戏会怎么做DLC应该有些正常期待,就像去川湘菜餐馆点了变态辣就要有被辣哭的准备。发售之前削了一部分轮椅,但是亵渎血叉法爷进DLC的初体验依旧挺轮椅的,新轮椅就更加无脑甚至和开挂一样了,觉得难的估计是又菜又不肯用轮椅的。

唯一不喜欢的还是传统的强制PVP,我嫌难可以玩轮椅,我嫌数值高可以提升等级,但我就想和朋友一起连个机,还非要被别人拿着一背包的道具入侵,这就很无语了。而且迅斩这超模的PVP强度,搞得大家都去玩感应流拿反手剑就没意思了。强烈要求老贼给个关闭PVP的选项。

GOTYs are GOTYs for a reason. Decent scenery arts, sophisticated story line and side quests, unique and interesting level design, this is like BoTW but with shrines replaced by hard-core soul-like dungeons and mobs becomes 100x more difficult, a BoTW not suitable for children and faint of hearts, but well enough for the adults.

Mention about the difficulty, don't listen to those who tell you to start with wretch, that is for someone up for some serious early-game torture. The difficulty was actually quite okay with other starting roles. Don't get stuck by trying to beat something you have difficulty doing so, the lands in between has no mercy to those who don't find work-arounds.

Working as an electrical engineer in this game is ridiculously similar to working as one in real life, you will have to design logical circuit, debug them, and ensure all the wires are connected to the right spot. Yet people who play this game was already proven for their ability to "work under high pressure".

The unique profession all gotta do their job, and they tie up so well in a team, facing the deep ocean abominations together, building experience and professionalism both as oneself and as a team. I would say Barotrauma had a very unique and yet interesting taste, one that you will never see in any other games.

You will be able to adventure in an underground society in an engrossing atmosphere. The difficulty is not forgiving at all, but satisfying to conquer.

with descending difficulties throughout the entire devil may cry series, this game still provides as much combat sensation as expected from a capcom game. the story has a brand new feel, some may not like the personality of the new dante, but the setting itself is absolutely acceptable if comparison is not been made to other devil may cry stories. dmc devil may cry is a new standalone game, and it is absolutely a nice one.

despite the cheap making, this game is not too bad as one of the few stratagy greenlight on steam. i am sure certain people might enjoy playing it.

skyrim deserves all that compliments given to it. very high degree of freedom and contents keeps u on your seat as long as it takes. u also gets to see nice view and talk to all kinds of people traveling around skyrim. the skill switching and combat system is however its only weakness.
