Has MAJOR graphics issues on certain cards. Mine would distort graphics in the background into a mess of gigantic distorted geometric shapes. No graphics settings were able to remedy this. Essentially an unplayable game.

This is that game.

This game is so good that even a salty old man like me can't find something to complain about. This is literally just a perfect game.

This has to be one of the most mid games I've ever played in my life.

This software is so trash it's actually made me anti-steam.
This program will open without being asked to check if your headset is plugged in when you're doing nothing VR related.
This software will make VR games not work because the steam menu system interferes with some VR game menu systems.
This software won't even open games in VR because steam games are all preset in their settings to open up in projection mode if you're in VR, which means any game you open instead of running in natural VR to immerse you will pop up on a floating screen to simulate the wonders of playing on a TV screen in VR.
This is some of the worst software programming I have ever seen in my life and not only do I have to have a seperate windows account to use VR because of this crap but I no longer buy games on steam that have anything to do with VR because of this crap.
I'll just buy direct from the Oculus store or from EpicGames instead of ever dealing with this horrible software ever again.

This series has been mid ever since the reboot.

Consider this game the starter pack to your new life. I hope you like being an absolute degenerate.

Not a fan of the mechanic that brings up a popup asking if you want to switch to easy mode every time you die and if you click yes by accident it doesn't allow you to switch back. Please remove this feature.

Game barely ever gets updates. Same eight ugly characters since the game was released. Only real mechanical update was a leveling system designed to bloat a boring game with prestiging. Mechanics still never work properly with ghosts constantly doing things or moving in ways they shouldn't and the community is so caught up in these ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanics they've meta'd the game to death. 90% of active players will just try to pull you into zero evidence games where they ♥♥♥♥ around and try to spitball guess the ghost. This game is a joke and it was honestly more fun when it was first released. They've only progressively made the game worse since its release.

This game is a strange barely functioning old port from the era of Xbox 360 and also the secret hidden gem of the Lost Planet series. Running this game requires downloading an outdated version of Games for Windows Live and the setup literally takes about ten minutes just to get the initial login to work, but if you're willing to go through the gauntlet what awaits you is one of the finest games ever given to man.
