While I could certainly go into depth like some of the other reviews and ratings you find here, I'll try to keep it simple:

Homeworld 3 is a solid game. However, if you're expecting the awe and mystery that came with playing through the story of the first two installments - you'll find yourself disappointed. Some mechanics that were present are gone (such as angled armor), there is far more micromanaging (this is an "Actions Per Minute type of RTS) and there is a clear balance issue with ships....to the point entire classes may be useless to spend resources on.

That said; it is fun, a 7/10 overall. But if you're expecting a true to form Homeworld game, this title is a case where the adage "looks like a duck and quacks like a duck," does not necessarily apply.

It's a simple, fun, and explosive Action RPG. Reminds me of a time when games were simple and no frills. You won't find a cosmetic store or a season pass, but you will find creative ways to beat the hell out of some vampires.

Once you get the move set of enemies down, you will smoke everything in sight: bosses included.

Oh, and it has co-op, so that's great too.

I recommend buying on sale though, as the game isn't super long.

Excellent survival game with an end goal in mind. Relaxing playthrough makes this a great downtime game.
