Early Access Review
I wrote this review 5 hours after playing Supervive for the first time. Skip to bottom for summary :)

Welcome to Supervive, Imagine a top-down MOBA with the fluid-like movement, combat, and character design of peak Overwatch, but with the familiar top-down interface, kits and strategy in League of Legends.
With a hero roster at the level of games like Overwatch or League of Legends in terms of character design quality and kit diversity alongside it's extremely smooth fast-paced gameplay, Supervive is the easiest MOBA I've ever gotten into. Despite being early access, at full graphics my game never dropped below 100FPS during gameplay. I played between 10-20 games and achieved my first win on my first night of play, against NINETEEN OTHER TEAMS.
Supervive is a MOBA where your objective is to farm, loot, level up, destroy your opposition, and be the LAST TEAM STANDING
Characters:
Characters each have a basic ability and at least one secondary, special, and ultimate ability that can be upgraded by leveling up from killing monsters around the map. Choose a damage, tank, or support hero, or something in between, as there is already a large character roster that will be continually expanded.
The character designs are all great, with abilities inspired from the best tools and skills from your favorite games, you're sure to find a familiar mechanic with a totally new spin on it. Every character feels like the lifelong brainchild of a game designer whittled to perfection - keep in mind over half of the team working at Supervive has over 1000 hours of gameplay in games like League or Overwatch and experience working at Riot Games or other massively successful gaming companies, it's no wonder the game feels like someone finally figured out what players want more of in the games they already love.
The Map:
Supervive's map is a circular space with vaults of loot, respawn beacons, bases to be claimed, monster camps, and dynamic vertical terrain scattered about. It even has a moving train. The most defining feature of Supervive is the fact that it's map is reminisce of Minecraft Skyblock. For this reason, every player is equipped with a "sprint bar" type mechanic that allows them to deploy a glider for flight and a burst of movement speed. To add to the chaos, take enemy damage while gliding over a chasm, and you are immediately SPIKED INTO THE VOID.
The map has a storm that slowly shrinks and increases in damage to drive combat forward to the final deathmatch. Find vision-orbs like in league's jungle, carefully navigate terrain to avoid making as much noise, and use your resources to scout out the map and enemy teams. The map also integrates vertical terrain, creating walls for cover and terrain that can be climbed for better vision and positional advantages.
The fluid-like movement system of the game allows for momentum to carry by chaining together dashes with your glider and fights to go in ways you would never expect, as a chase might lead a fight to another group, or even a monster camp, always creating potential for more chaos.
As mentioned earlier, there are also bases that can be located on the map. These can be captured like a control point and allow you to repair your armor and heal. You can also back to them team's base at any time, and have vision to inform you if enemies ever enter the area. My favorite base to capture is the one on the moving train.
Ability Upgrades, Items, and Looting:
When loading in, choose 2 base items: 2x Dmg, Dmg & Tank, or 2x Tank. As you level up by killing creeps, you can upgrade each ability to level 1/2/3 for more perks, power, and better cooldowns. All players have base armor, but can find upgraded armor with increased durability. You will also find upgrade shards, which can be used to evolve your dmg/tank items. As you upgrade your items, you'll get the option to select between various stages of evolutions, allowing you to customize your character's build. In addition to your starting upgradable items, you'll also locate active items which you can hold two of at a time. You can also find various consumables to support combat, including smoke grenades, objects for cover, healing/mana potions, etc. Making up a small but integral aspect of the game, items, upgrades, and looting are simple and straightforward while allowing almost infinite options. The looting system is reminisce of Apex Legends, with various incentives around the map that will motivate you to keep moving and powering up.
Gameplay:
The actual gameplay is extremely fun. Teamfights feel a lot like league of legends, with the items you're using supported by a looting and leveling system that allows players with a lead to have an edge that can be turned against them if they're caught out after finishing a narrow fight. Killing a team that's stronger than you is very possible in the game if you catch them by surprise or while they're recovering, afterwards you'll be able to loot their upgrade points, armor, and active items/consumables. Remember when I said this game is easy to get into? They didn't want players to stress about looting items and organizing inventory, so they added a "smart loot" button. If you do die, it's not the end of the world. Your soul drops as a wisp that the enemy can finish or your team can stand on for a short time to revive. Even if your wisp is destroyed, you can still be revived if a teammate stands at a respawn beacon for 10 seconds, which causes a global notification on the map (so be careful). Needless to say, getting in the lead is rewarding and feels good, but you are never totally out of the game.
Overall Thoughts:
Characters: 9/10 - Top tier character roster with gorgeous character designs and great options for every style of play.
Gameplay: 9/10 - Fast-paced fluid gameplay with straightforward leveling/upgrade mechanics paralleled with a chaotic environment providing satisfying strategic choices and pacing. Teamfights are fun, strategies and team compositions abound.
Graphics: 10/10 - The game looks astonishingly good for being in early access, and runs smooth too.

Supervive is an amazing project that will undoubtedly go far. What the studio has accomplished in the 2.5 years since being funded $80m in 2022 proves true vision and given the team's track record I have faith they care more about making their next favorite game to sink thousands of hours into than short-term profits. Comparing the game to what it looked like 6 months ago is night and day, so I'm extremely excited to see where the game ends up in 6-12 months (how long they plan to run early access). The way the game controls could absolutely be adapted to console, and I think this game is poised to blow up.

My Recommendation:
I think one of my FAVORITE things about this game, is that unlike League taking me 100 hours to learn, this game took me 10 minutes, and it absolutely echoes my favorite aspects of gameplay in the best multiplayer team fighting games, creating a mishmash of Apex Legends, Overwatch, and MOBA's like Dota or League.

Beat it twice, fun game. It's hard, but the more you learn about it the more megamind plays you can make to get yourself out of tricky situations.

PLAYING THIS GAME IS LIKE WALKING THROUGH A FIFTH GRADE CLASSROOM DURING INDOOR RECESS AND HEARING ALL OF THE WORST JOKES YOU HAVE EVER HEARD IN YOUR LIFE. THIS GAME HAS BEEN RUINED BY ITS FANBASE AND THERE IS NO WAY AROUND THAT, THANK YOU.
