@Seven not sure how many times I have to repeat myself. I can give away some information about myself without giving away my name, address, exactly who or what I am or do.
Sure I am former Navy. My home of record is Wisconsin. In the military we always have a home of record. Does that mean it is my current location though? Nope, not even close. Anyone that serves can tell you that.
It is funny how many people look at data on an account and just assume it is real or 100% accurate. And that was also part of the point...
Just as you assumed I was using a credit card here, you are again assuming things because of what I put in the profile. Trust me, if you knew my real name and did a google search, for example, you would get one hit. One hit for the last 10 years. And that one hit was and is tied to my military background and showed up in the media which is why it comes up.

I was in the same boat, mate.
I do not have Windows 10 installed and neither Office, nor any of the XBOX consoles, so I did not have a Microsoft or XBOX LIVE account.
I was a little sad, until I've tried out logging in with my old Games for Windows Live (GFWL) account (created it on my PC for Bioshock 1/2 and Resident Evil 5 many years ago) and it worked!
So, if anyone has their old GFWL account name and password at hand, then they are able to enter the game without creating any new Microsoft-related accounts.
I hope this helps you to enjoy your game.
Best of luck and have a nice day.
Faithfully Yours, Tom from Hungary
