Awful DLC, complete waste of money. Story for the map is some weird 'evil fake country people' type with a yuppie as your zone npc. The visibility on this map is one of if not the worst, and due to topography there is essentially no way to get clear shots on prey unless you are hunting roads, or playing with low graphics settings to de-render foliage. More importantly you can't really navigate to slight incline vantage points due to the foliage unless you are running as a maxed account with all visibility and noise upgrades, even crouch walking usually results in a full sound bar. Primarily waterbased map, with gaters that only your bino's can see when in water, 120m eyesight and if they 'dive deep' which seems to be random your kill will be lost. Sometimes they'll bleed out 90 seconds after diving and come up just fine, others they'll drop within 8 seconds of treading water and be gone forever. Oh, but the hunting pressure stays :D:D:D. AWFUL dlc for the game, most of the other ones will leave you more satisfied with your purchase. This will remain unplayed until at minimum I 100% every other map in this game. Truly a waste of money and time. Don't believe me? please, use your server browser to playtest maps before making the purchase. Silver Ridge and taiga are some of the more enjoyable dlcs for this game.

Play castle crashers. If you feel bored of playing castle crashers, still play castle crashers, otherwise find a different roguelike. This was and is a mobile game for a reason, if you want a superior roguelike mobile game play soul knight instead.




This game feels like a college student's final that they decided to copy off of castle crashers, but rather than a fun party feel its just awful and makes you feel bad playing it, while pretending like thats okay since its a 'challenging roguelike' so if it feels horrible to play its a skill issue, right? Weapon balance is horrible, 80% of all weapons suck and you use the select 10 same weapons throughout a run. Weapon typing makes spears and greatswords useless regardless of ability because they don't have iframes or dodges PERIOD. Challenge mode is a no effort randomizer of modifiers that either do nothing at all or make the game completely unplayable. Nightmare mode doesn't even effect the gameplay loop despite stat increases to enemies as a solo, except for the handful of enemies that got buffed. 25% of the 'nightmare' buffs don't effect an enemies lethality at all, and the other 75% are complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that attempt to solely make you feel bad. Enemies that charge endlessly and are hard to kill normally? Give them infinite stamina and infinite stopping power to permenantly be charging. Regardless nightmare mode increases the difficulty of everything you wouldn't want to increase to make a game harder. The game will torture you with either uncontrollable events or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hit regestration, there are a ton of attacks that don't even regester iframes so you can get 100-0'd in about a dozen different situations throughout your run. A good third of all the bosses in this game are strictly DPS/food checks rather than challenging fights if solo, and have horrible mechanics. There are bosses that are both near impossible to beat solo or near impossible to even call a 'fight' in coop. COOP health scaling is ridiculous, and don't get me started on just how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ their 'revival' system is. I've done segmented hitless runs in CC, but even playing this game normally aggrivates me.

This game is showing some extreme levels of promise; even though this is a simple alpha build with very little depth, the proof is in the details. There are very few unique monsters, including bosses. There are also, very few unique dice. Despite this, each and every unit and die included in this release has such refreshingly unique characteristics, from the 'normal' enemies to the dice, to the bosses. Everything has been so wonderfully thought about before being put into the game, I can only hope this level of uniqueness and consistency will continue into the future full release and the plethora of new enemies and dice that will get added. The negatives to this release currently, are the underwhelming/completely broken and stale random encounters, the oddly small pool of dice types you can pull from when choosing new dice (you pull triples of the same die so often, its better 95% of the time to just grab health), and the non-viability of relying on terrain die due to how the last boss works. I won't count repetitive game-play as a negative, since this is a free, early release. Treat it as a demo.

This is one of the worst turn based battlers I've seen, to date, which is even more surprising considering it has a steam release. I've played dozens of mobile games with better gameplay, balance, polish, and enjoyment.

This game forces you into running 40 CARD DECKS, when there are a small, small amount of cards that actually allow you to roll into your deck!!! More importantly, it dips it's toes into P2W, with you only being able to grind 2 booster packs worth of gold daily, meaning even with RNG on your side, itll take upwards of a month to get anywhere close to having a full, 40 card team that you want to run. Honestly the P2W isnt that bad, but the rest of the game is awful so it doesn't even mean anything. Unless you have a fully built deck, the game is pure RNG in the worst possible sense; not like dice-based games, here its strictly impossible to win off of bad starting decks and bad draws. And even then, 2 fully specialized decks in battle are STILL completely, utterly down to RNG. I've never seen a game with supposedly no rng mechanics, have more RNG than this. TFT and Underlords look solely skill based compared to this ♥♥♥♥. I think the art is cool, and I could never make a game this polished in looks, but that doesn't mean I can give this any passing remarks at all. The tutorial is super long, extremely forced, and nearing the end of it, it softlocks and you need to restart the game to skip it, its just hilarious. Doubtful if you actually face real people 100% of the time in casual either, 1 in every 4 people I played against seemed to be real, making the fights complete toss-ups as to the victor, the others played as horribly as the AI in the campaign, making me yawn. Don't let looks fool you, this game isn't worth playing.

below mid, was expecting some age of war type gameplay, but its just really really poorly made. Upgrades are in no way qualitative or quantitative, unit balance is nonexistant and its just very very stale. I had very low standards, but it still fell short, after my 2nd battle I had literally no reason to switch my build since it was already the best build possibly available. Easiest example I can point to is 2 units, both archers, both cost same amount of points to purchase, and are in the same tier next to one another. one of them has higher health, and costs less. Thats it, no negatives, strictly better. AI attacks don't have any prompt, so other than the casted spells, you just let your units get deleted by the instant-casts, spending 5-10 minutes spamming units until the AI ♥♥♥♥♥ up for a long enough amount of time for you to very, very, very slowly march to their base.

So immensely sloppy. There is no balance, synergy between the cards is nonexistant, or at most surface level synergies owing to the inherent traits of the card and not any smart design. The biggest issue that completely ruins the game is how awful of a system they created to 'scale' your equipment. For classes like necromancer, He has multiple stats that physically don't scale with level, which means the majority of the time you will be using a piece of gear level 4 or below well into levels 11 and beyond because of how awful the stat system is. The majority of cards are strictly negative and give nothing from choosing them, and there are some you strictly cannot live with using, especially on the later worlds where 'traits' break any semblance of balance between enemies, as some enemies are simply irrefutably more dangerous than others. Scaling of the base camp is inconsistent, with some upgrades being useful and cheap, while useless ones are exorbitantly expensive requiring substantial grind to achieve. The game has a great concept that was executed horribly, the best part about this game is the store page.

Got it because of my sidescrolling autobattler love from all of the old flash games. This game would've been a mid to possibly high tier FREE FLASH GAME. For example, Age of War or any of its copies/predicessors blows this out of the water. Boring and extremely bland, The 'limited' amounts of units/supply you have means nothing, there are clear tiers/strengths between units, half of them are worse than the first half to the point where you will never be using them; Endless mode isn't a skill challenge, its a challenge to see how much time you can waste. Not worth the money at all, go hop onto any flash game archives for a much more fun time.

great game to watch others play.
I've always hated rng games but this one is so short form I thought it was great.
Must be just me, but having multiple strong teams die to what can only be called god tier rng leads to me not really enjoying the gameplay at all. Things like, 3 spiders that all faint into sheep in a summon team (1/1000 statistical probability) happening a lot of the time isnt very fun for me. Or 'coincidences' where you go for a specific build that has 1 large weakness that you coincidentally go up against 3-4 times in a row, despite not seeing that type of team more than once in the past 5 games.
