Not a review of the games - they are basically my childhood - but of this "remastered" bundle thingy!

Found out on release date about it. Hyped up a friend and instantly installed it. Started the game only to hear loud crackling sounds and have the game crash after 5 MINUTES! Should have an additional tinnitus warning after the epilepsy info.

Saying "now remastered with enhanced graphics" is straight up cheekiness.
The caption should have said "hey some intern changed the gamma and brightness. The round 1x1 studs are still octagonal but hey - now they're 4K! That'll be 40 bucks".

Don't get me wrong. It looks good but there's no real effort made here :(

Also don't know about the new EULA you're struck with on first startup: " [...] You hereby grant WB Games, its affiliates and its contractors permission to monitor your System [...] "

The only reason I haven't refunded yet is because we wanted to 100% replay both games anyways, that there's achievements now and we don't have a life.

It should be free for people who own both games already.

I really wanted to like this game, but:
There are no split screen settings and the game runs very poorly with steam remote play.
There is not a single preorder bonus on steam.
There are way too many framedrops, glitches and bugs wich literally force you to reload the level.
For completion you have to collect 1000+ Kyber Bricks, wich becomes very repetitive and boring.
Villains and Story Characters end up way differently than in the movies (e.g. Jango gets crushed instead of beheaded. Darth Maul kills Qui-Gon Jinn AFTER being cut in half, . . . )
In Boss fights you have a forced camera angle and the fight itself is the very same every time.
The Petranaki-Arena and many other areas from the old games just seem dead due to lack of enemies.
Side quests repeat themselves with travelling to many planets and through space fights only to get spawned into an asteroid over and over again wich breaks the game.
The space battles and flying mechanics are a joke.

And so much more.

It's not all negative - don't get me wrong. The first story playthrough except for said missing loyalty to the original franchise was brilliant. There are many nice things to say about this game but after 85+ of frustration and decay of the last active braincells im done with this game. I now have completed it only to never play it again
. . .wich is sad and can't be said about the original LEGO games.

Compared to the previous LEGO Star Wars Games and all in all it's a good thought but (for me) became more and more frustrating the further you got in the game.

60€ for this cluster of glitches, crashes and bugs - come on!
