Only point of buying it is so because most mods nowadays require this, for some stupid reason. Bethesda does not deserve the money.

There exists a willfully unaddressed bug -- ongoing for at least two years, probably since launch -- wherein you cannot actually download the content because the Bethesda server is 'not available', or some poppycock. Bethesda actively deletes help tickets people have sent in about this.

That said, if you do buy the game, and you do encounter this bug, I was able to fix it by uninstalling skyrim, deleting all its folders from the steamapps/common directory, deleting all its save game data and other miscellaneous files from the My Games directory, and installing it anew.

This is trash and Bethesda is evil.

The first half of the game is alright. The latter half is empty and unfinished. I ended up turning the difficulty to the easiest possible setting so I could finish the story and play something else.

Not as awful as Arcania, but still pretty bad. As a long-time fan of PB, this is one of the only games of theirs that I've been thoroughly disappointed with. Would not reccomend.

Enderal is amazing. The gameplay is fun, the characters are interesting, and the story is truly astonishing. Rare is the game that actually catches my emotions and manages to reframe my perspective, but Enderal managed to fill me with an emotion of a depth I have literally never felt before. While the game mechanics are fine (Skyrim but moderately better), the quests are what set this apart.

I own over 1200 games on Steam, and this is probably my single favorite game. It has, without a doubt, the best story I've ever played, and it's free (if you own Skyrim.)

And, if the start of the game doesn't capture you, just stick with it; it gets better. The first time I played Enderal, I quit after maybe an hour. The second time, however, I stuck it through, and got to go through a life-changing experience that I will treasure until death.

Now, gratuitously: BRING ME A NICE CRISP PIECE OF MEAT

WarriOrb is a novel addition to the challenging platformer genre, throwing in a bit of combat, magic, and its own brand of physics puzzles centered mainly around the fact that you are a walking, talking, bouncing, rolling orb.

I'll be honest; I'm not the biggest fan of this genre. However, that's just me. If you like hardcore platformers such as Celeste, I imagine this will be right up your alley, complete with its own unique flavor of worldbuilding and scenery. A hearty recommendation for any fans of platformers.

Absolver is an awesome game, with its only flaw being how limited the PvE content is. As it is, it's already a great game, and the art style is, in my opinion, fantastic.

Trite though it sounds, I wish more people would latch onto this little gem, giving the devs more support and maybe convincing them to throw in more content and the like. As it is, I truly wish there was more to this game, because I love what's already there.

Zdzisław Beksiński was a troubled artist who painted vividly alien and disturbing artwork. He, alongside H. R. Giger, and H. P. Lovecraft, are the three artists who fortunately are not alive to see their work thoroughly raped by this game.

Note the word 'rape', there, because it was carefully chosen in context with the game, and its surprising lack thereof. One of the major marketing features of the game -- though not the one drew me in -- was the perverse sexuality on open display; in the end, however, the results were quite tepid.

This game, in short, is utter garbage. The controls are sub-par, the story falls barely short of 'adequate', the horror element is nonexistent, and the puzzles are either obvious or arbitrary, in some sort of twisted "Nancy Drew Goes to Rape Mansion" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

There is nothing in this game that is not thoroughly spoked in sheer edge. The main villain at one point legitimately says he intends to turn you into "a machine for eternal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥." The art is barely portrayed and touched upon; Giger and Beksiński have their artwork by a dimension that is purple and spikey and sometimes the walls are faces. That's it. The Lovecraftian lore is touched on fairly, although the main dimension is called "Lusst'gha", pronounced exactly how you'd expect, and the main bad guy constantly repeats its name in some far too frequent chant.

The game also contains minor action or stealth elements, all of which are either far too easy or far too hard, and half of which are preceded by over-length cutscenes which, mercifully, you are capable of skipping over.

The "boss fight" involves -- and I can not stress just how literally I invoke this terminology -- the player literally running in circles while the boss chants. That's it! That's all there is!

To summarize, this game is a pile of steaming ♥♥♥♥ that nobody should ever touch.

Quite a fun game. Has some RPG- / Roguelite-feeling elements by virtue of the hidden upgrade placement and progression. Only real downside is that the map, by virtue of what it is, is decently complex, and so its hard to keep track of all the places you need to revisit because of the metroidvania aspect. Still, for the most part those are secret areas; the main story (so far) isn't too easy to get lost in.

Really disappointing.

I enjoyed both of the other Pen & Paper games; they were really good fun and involved interesting tactics in figuring out what roles to combine and how to build up your characters.

Galaxy removes all of that fun stuff. Levels no longer matter. You get no customization. The story is vague and the game suffers from being "open world", by which I mean the developers decided to only include one hour of main story and then let you do just kinda whatever.

I bought it for 3 bucks, and I'm returning it.

I had high hopes for this game going in, and boy did it deliver!

As others have stated, the story is A+, provided you have any interest at all in philosophy. The moral quandaries are legitimately thought-provoking, and you'll end up stewing in the reality of what you've done.

The game excels in those fields and many more; atmosphere, worldbuilding, blah blah, etc. The only part of the game that's at all lacking is the monsters; they're only decent, and don't add or take away from the game particularly.

This is an amazing game. Obviously, it's built around a single mechanic, without which it would just be a plain first-person shooter. The mechanic, however, more than holds the game up on its own, augmented by the art style and a somewhat intriguing story.

The game isn't too long; you can probably beat it in a couple of hours. However, you then unlock challenges, allowing you to go back and replay levels with certain modifiers attached. Alternately, you can play horde mode versions of levels, or just replay the normal levels and see how quickly you can beat them. I'm normally not a fan of such challenges, but the gameplay in Superhot really makes them more enticing.
