Battlewake developed by Survios delivers a thrilling and visually stunning Pirate experience made for VR with their latest game. Between its easy to pick up gameplay mechanics, great narrative in campaign and visual design. I couldn't help but fall completely in love with the game. The games campaign puts you through various missions where you must battle your way through the enemies sharing the waters you aim to conquer. Between turning the ship with the anchors, Directing your crew to fire cannons and machine guns, It was extremely easy to become immersed into the world of Battlewake. I found myself not wanting to stop playing the game. Every time I was done with one mission, I wanted to do the next. Its fun, addictive and definitely an easy recommend for anyone wanting to either play a fun campaign or even get into some PvP action with other players.

Island 359 is a fantastic experiemce. A game like this is why I've always looked forward to when VR became possible. Even with this being an early access title it feels great and plays great. With this being said I can definitely see room for improvement.

-The Interaction System - First thing I would like to see is more haptic feedback. (Quick Example: Climbing a ladder comes off as a bit clutsy due to the fact that I am not 100% sure I have the controller in the right place so I would often miss the bars.)

-The Health System - Another awesome feature too see would be to dump the red screen and go for more of a Pulse/heart beat effect with the controllers. But I can also see where this would be an issue. It would drain life. How intense would the pulse be. When would it begin etc. So Im content with the red screen. But would liek to see a neat alternative if possible.

-The Inventory System - By far my favorite part of this game is the inventory system. I mention this in my video numerous times. This is the kind of feature I have been longin for in a VR game. As a hige dayz fan, I've always dreamed of the day where I would play a lot based game where I could take off my back pack and store my items. But with that being said I really feel like this game could use an Upgrade pack system. Over time when things get more intense and you need to hold more items Im afraid 4 slots may not be enough.

-The movement system - okay so I instantly fell in love with the sprint system in this game. And this is coming from someone who dislikes teleporting in games. But this game integrates it very well. BUT with that being said I could definitely see where this could hold the game back from the anti teleporting groups with Vives. So While I was playing I thought to my self, How awesome would it be to be able to at least walk slowly with the trackpad all while keeping the sprint method there for more evasive situations.

-The Weapons System- The weapons in this game so far are great. But it also lacks. After you've played with all the guns and their upgrades they lost their fun factor quick. Once I had realized I found all the guns and upgrades I was a little disappointed there werent more options. (For example: Scavenging a broken fence for barbwire to put on my bat would be stellar. Find a rope and stick to make a spear with my knife would be even better.

Now I am not saying this game needs these features to do well because in all honesty it doesn't. I can already tell the team behind this game have a great vision for this game and I knew that the second I pulled the back pack off of my back and set it on the table. This is a game that every VIVE owner should own> Its great to show friends, family and its also great to play yourself. I found myself itching to get off of work to get home and play some more and that has yet to happen with a VIVE game.

So I'll end this by saying major kudos to the team for making such an epic title and I mean it when I say I can not wait to see what the future holds for this game. Thank you for allowing me to try it out. You guys rock and stay awesome :D

Phinnegan's Factory delivers visually stunning art style while keeping you immersed and on your toes as you fight through waves of enemies while you earn power ups. Looking forward to the updates and what this game has to offer. Definitely a must have for all VR fans
