amazing demo, so exited for the game!

Seems fun and promising.

London - Ludbeck:
Day 1: I have this little sloop and a contract to deliver goods to Ludbeck. I load my boat up with it and the rest of the space if taken up by food and water. Didn't have any money left for candles so hopefully they dont run out.
Left London bound east, making about 4 knots with all sails out in this very calm weather.
Day 2: Woke up to a terrible storm, stowed all sails except topsail. Pumping repetedly and course correcting. Storm continues all day, by evening it has subsided.
Day 3: Entering Kattegat, weather is calm. I trimmed the boat very accuratley and can timewarp the entire sound down to Ludbeck. Very satisfying. Evening approach to Ludbeck, around midnight I have only very little left to go. But I have a direct headwind so drop anchor and will moor tomorrow.
Day 4: Mooring takes all day as I should have come from the other direction. But as the sun sets I am moored at Ludbeck and have done my first contract.

I dont have enough time in this game for a proper review. But I can assure you that all the core mechanics in the game are here. It will be very interesting to see how this game looks in a year.

EDIT: Updates have improved the game quite a bit, gameplay is more varied and rewarding. But theres still some way to go.

Development is too slow. There is almost no content. There are several minor content additions that could go a far way to make this more playable.

The best social deduction game on the internet.

Just jump in (after tutorial) a game or two, you learn much more when actually playing the game. You wont do much right the first game. But in your third you will have fully started to understand the dynamics of the game.

This game is the ultimate chase game. This game is pretty boring if you have no wish to find better and better scores for your favorite species. There is just something so satisfying with harvesting that big buck or shooting down 4 pheasants in one flush.
I got my first albino after 100 hours played. It was also the first one I have ever seen. It was also absolutely ♥♥♥♥, but still not. It was a special animal for me and it was one of the most satisfying animals I've gotten in this game. What dictates if an animal is a trophy one and worthy for the lodge is not it's score. Well yes important, but it is really about the harvesting and the hunt that I want to taxidermy the animals for.

This game is a little dates but it does just have a really special charm and it is still very realistic (from a person that has never hunted). And Loggers point has major nostalgia for me. And yes microtransaction are necessary in this game if you want to actually go further than a beginner, but with a game where you can spend so many hours 30/40 dollars for all necessary equipment (to pretty much do whatever you want in this game, waterfowl hunting is maybe a bit more expensive) is not that much.

Bought it, played for 8 hours straight. Only reason i left the game now was because my computer was overheating and to write this review.
Its mount and blade, what more can i say?

I only have 7.3 hours at the time of writing this review but i have seen some things in negative reviews that i want to clear up.


So as a general review: This game is a fun mix of elder scrolls with a bit of souls-like in there. This is one of those games you dont really want to look at guides for since IMO it takes away from the experience. One thing that i wanted more of from the wither games was the preapering before a monster contract, and in this game its a core part of every adventure. But coming under prepeared can lead so some really fun adventures.

And the other parts: I read one review that said that you just walked around aimlessy. If you press J you open your journal where all your missions are stored, some things dont show in the journal like directions, so read what everyone says. Another one says that there are no places to explore. I can agree to this a little bit, but most of my exploration has been finding and exploring caves. But the overall world might lack places to explore. It would be more fun if there was other abandoned forts etc that were not marked on the map.
Many reviews also say that it runs badly. But it runs great on my PC with everything as high as they will go. And these are my specs:

16 gb ram.

10/10 would drink tea with a cat again

löve it. Its also pretty damn hard.(in the beggining).
