This game changed my life forever.

I remember back in 2015 or 2016, watching my sister play this odd little game with this nice-looking talking flower and weird skeleton people, and becoming absolutely obsessed. I remember just watching tons of speedpaints, comic dubs, fan animations, Undertale the Musical (both the one by MOTI and the one by LHUGENY), etc... Sure, not all of it holds up now, and I won't deny that the fandom was absolutely RABID back then (including me LOL), but I ate all of that stuff up.

There's this one little line when interacting with a mirror in New Home. "Despite everything, it's still you." You've probably seen this line get absolutely glazed everywhere, and although I thought it was good, I didn't really understand it. Years later, though, I'd make a friend. A very toxic one, at least for me. I left that friendship battered and hurting... then I saw this game again. It was it's 10th anniversary. I came across that line again. "Despite everything, it's still you."

Needless to say? I understood it a whole lot more.

Thank you, UNDERTALE. Thank you for making me smile, making me cry, making me cringe... Thank you.

Everything you've heard about it is true. It's really, REALLY good. Buy it. Play it.

If this is the last DMC game, then its certainly one hell of an end to this great franchise. Thank you for everything, Itsuno-san.
