Bless Steam for keeping the era of the demo alive and giving me one game to fawn over the release of.

This was exactly what a demo should be. Gives you enough of a taste of the really clever climbing mechanics with its introductory ascension, shows you the colossal objective ahead, then throws you out right when you're invested.

Feed me Game Bakers. I... MUST... CLIMB.

Something's wrong with the spooky ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollies and you've gotta do something about it.

That's pretty much it concept wise, but there's enough love and understanding of what makes horror truly great from the developers that give this game a mood some triple-A horror game makers could never even dream of.

As someone who had a grandma who collected creepy ass dolls and felt like they were always staring at me late at night, this hits frightfully close to home.

What the ♥♥♥♥?... but in a good way.

Nothing wrong with a chill game about cooking eggs for ungrateful citizens in an iced-over cyberpunk dystopia. Again, indie games are allowed to be creative whilst AAA's do nothing but try to appease shareholders.

Religion would have you believe that hell is a paranormal place created by God to punish humanity for our sins. With this game, the talented developers and writers at Wrong Organ present the idea that Hell is of wholly human construction and after witnessing the brutal horrors within in its short but sweet narrative, I believe them.

There's something to be said about space travel horror and how easy it is to go the Eldritch route to save yourself from writing yourself into the corner, but as a writer, I find it refreshing when talented people utilize the psychological horrors of humanity into Sci-Fi spaces, which this game does excellently.

Though you aren't with these characters for very long, their individual struggles, vices, and mental demons are on full display for us the cosmic bystander to observe in terror. There is a true unique quality to this game that I think you can only get from indies. You won't see a AAA developer take a risk like this, proving once again that we should all support indie devs.

After the credits rolled, I found myself both blown away and feeling like I needed a shower. Which is more than a compliment. This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games.

10/10 - I will never look at mouthwash the same way again.

Though I will not take any slander of either of the Golden Idol entries, I can admit this one is a tad weaker than the last. In terms of gameplay and art design this game is even more fun to uncover the mysterious of than The Case of the Golden Idol. In terms of story however, I feel this one fell off a little bit with the angle it was trying to push. The first had themes of crazy cults, autocratic governments, and all matter of subversive characters doing cruel things. This one kinda dropped the ball a bit by getting a little overly corporate for my taste. Idk, I guess I wanted a bit more paranormal like the first and a little less... well normal like this one presented. Also, as is a bit of my problem with the first one's story: everything wraps up in a bit of a convoluted matter for my taste.

Still a fantastic puzzle game experience that I will always cherish and come back to when I want to feel stupid for not being able to connect the dots properly.

Now this is a strategy game right here.

Though it may seem simple on the surface, as the many nights of sieges pass, you may realize very quickly that you did not develop your defenses, your income, or your offensive capabilities the way you should have. Every loss is painful, as every win brings nothing but glorious pleasure.

This is what being a king is. Build properly and fight with or men, or watch as everything you fought so hard for falls at the hands of savage barbarians and their wretched creatures.

I often find myself revisiting games that I played when I was a child in the early 2000s. I chuckle to myself wondering why I found so many games so hard back in the day, and why it was so difficult for me to get to the end credits. One of these games I struggled to complete but for some reason absolutely adored, was this hidden butt freckle right here. I played levels over and over again, wondering why I was so bad at the activity I adored the most, playing video games. Now, I just found out my video game rival is on Steam.
So I open it to play it and realize... "Oh my god... I wasn't bad at this game... this game just plays and is ♥♥♥♥!" Holy ♥♥♥♥, how can a game have this bad of shooting mechanics and movement? How can it have such a unique, clearly Gennedy Tartakovsky inspired art style, then turn around and have this bad of voice acting. Very easily it would seem. And yet... I'm going to finish it for little me. Its what he would've wanted.
So little Malice, if you are slamming controllers on the ground and screaming into your pillow wondering why you're so terrible at this game. Its not you, its the game. Play Spider-Man or some ♥♥♥♥.

There's just something about this game that scratches an itch most job oriented simulator games can't. Not to mention the fact that it has actually well made/ interesting levels, is genuinely funny and has a progression system that makes getting further into the game worth it.

I've never had more fun cleaning up blood than that time when... actually I don't think I should tell that story. Big Jim might ♥♥♥♥ me up.

You clean up pretty good, Kovalsky - 10/10

Though this game is definitely not perfect, it is extremely impressive that a single dev put something this put together out for $12, whereas teams of hundreds often times put out rushed garbage for 5x that amount.

The gunplay is fluid, fast and gritty, even if the plot around it is a bit weak. There's also a few too many underground segments but when you get out in the world the game can prove to be quite pretty. Its basically Half Life два.

Some of the translation errors are on the, "All Your Base Are Belong to Us," level and that added some good laughs along the way.

We need more devs like Narko. Throw on Tri Poloski and kill some almost Combine - 7.5/10
