Goated game

TL;DR
Played for 2 years in early access and my opinion is that it's worth every penny as a fan of the monster collecting/battling genre.

Gameplay - Fun battles, stamina system is pog compared to Pokemon PP, fun to explore world, find items & catch tems.

Story - Pretty weak for me personally but has its moments occasionally. Not the main focus of the genre anyway imo.

Art - Super pretty art direction. Vibrant color palettes and fun themed locations. Tem designs are mostly great, some weaker ones here and there but they are not against reworking them. Some tems have undergone type changes & design changes to better suit the needs of the game and overall community feedback.

Microtransactions - Non-predatory cosmetics only. Battlepass is cheap and pays for itself if you complete it over 3 months. Worth it if you play regularly, no sense of FOMO if you don't.

Developer / community - The developers are very transparent and inclusive within their community through the game itself and their discord. Can't say that about many devs nowadays but they genuinely seem like they have the player's best interests in mind. Everybody in global chat is very nice and helpful for the most part and welcoming of new players.

This is hands down one of the greatest games of all time. Easily the best souls game that they have made. I'm currently on NG+6 about to be on NG+7. The bosses are very aggro in comparison to other souls games, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I wasn't a fan of not having a path to follow, because my first play through I was severely under leveled for every area that I went to and I'm too hard headed to leave the boss and go somewhere else. At first the world felt like it was a little too big, playing through the game a bunch of times the world doesn't feel as overwhelming anymore. I wasn't a huge fan of fighting on horseback at the start because it just felt wonky. After using Torrent for some time and getting used to him the horseback is fine. Let me be the first to tell you that EVERYTHING is viable in Elden Ring. You can use whatever your heart desires, and you'll do just fine. They made us very powerful in this game compared to other souls games. More things being viable = more builds to craft and test out = more fun / not using the same weapons over and over. A lot of the NPC characters are awesome. The bosses are absolutely amazing to say the least. The fight against Malenia is easily my favorite fight in the game. The music in this game is phenomenal. The Radagon theme will forever be a banger. If you like souls games, you'll like this game.

The gameplay felt like RE7, however this game absolutely dumpsters RE7 in enemy variety and replay value. The cast of Village was fantastic, I don't think I disliked a single character. They did a great job with the jump scares at times. The story was very well written, and the voice actors did an amazing job! The game is truly beautiful looking. All areas were great. There still isn't a single place I dread going to in a new run. Slight optimization problems with the acid rain and bugs flying around you dropping you down to 30fps. I'm sure they'll fix that in time. Overall I'd say this game is a 10/10. I'd be shocked if it doesn't win GOTY.

Honestly some of the most fun I've had in a very long time. If you're thinking about picking up this game, please give it a chance. It's so much fun in all honesty, and the fact that it is as well done as it is while only being made by one person is amazing. He is doing a great job!

This game is fantastic. They did cut out a bit of stuff from the original, but we all knew it was going to be a little different. This has become my all time favorite game. I love the series and have been playing it since I was around 5 years old back on the PS1 lol. If you liked Resident Evil 2 Remake you'll love this game. The perfect dodge makes you feel great when you land one against Nemmy. The game is very short yes, but does that take away from it? No, I would say that it does not. IMO the game is 10/10.

In my opinion RE5 is one of the best coop games ever made. If you’re playing with a friend you’ll have a lot of fun. Solo the game is still enjoyable. I’ve 100% it on Xbox 360, and almost 100% it on Xbox one.

I've played Biohazard / Resident Evil since I was around 5 years old. The original was great, this REmaster is absolutely perfect in my eyes. Hands down one of the best games ever created in my opinion. I've beaten the game around 10 times this week alone, because I enjoy the game that much. Not having full control over your camera is honestly great. Makes the game much more scary / suspenseful. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes the horror survival genre!
