Gamepad controls are so bad, and I dont mean non-intuitive, they just dont work. Kept accidently skipping through tutorial prompts because devs dont QA.

The game is dead and sold off to greedy publisher. Since 2018 devs had promised no paid dlc or content gated behind money, now they are selling classes while the base game still feels unfinished with bugged skills.

Avoid this game and play Path of Exile 2 instead. Even Diablo 4 is transparent on their greed at this point.

If you plan on playing with a gamepad, dont. Save yourself the headache. You would think a game thats been ported to console would work rightly so and youd be wrong.

Gamepad controls downright broken, blatant unplayable mess. DO NOT BUY.

What was potentially a good survivor game ruined by a questionable mechanic called "bleed". You basically always start with 10 health bars, if you ever get down to 9 you basically now have to shoehorn in "reduced bleed amount" into your gear, your build or wherever you can fit it, otherwise your character WILL DIE. I dont understand why this needs to be in the game, its just another artificial thing you need to solve in your build for no real reason other than "innovation" which it clearly isn't doing. It is a garbage tier thing to have to deal with and serves no real purpose but to dilute your build choices.

Class balance is also out the window, every class sucks except for the barbarian that just demolishes everything all the time. To even bring the other 4 classes up to par you have to invest into all their other skills and attributes, it feels like a slog unless you play barbarian.

The game has some potential, but if you want a survivor game with the ARPG feel just get Halls of Torment, in a world where both of these games exist I dont know why you would want to pick this one over that game that is S Tier.
