Absolutely amazing Tetris experience, there's not a lot I can say about this game other than that essentially, but that should be enough to buy this game imo.

I absolutely recommend this game because of it's amazing storytelling, amount of power that you have over how the story plays out, and because of how the development team has been busting their butt off for this game, all around great game.

Too laggy, I have 16gb of RAM and GTX 1650 and it lags on the lowest setting, I can't with this game, I had fun, but damn, it was not fun loading this game, I had to wait like 5 mins too

I'm so tired of the synchronization error ♥♥♥♥, I want to play and get the bloodpoints, this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ impossible when 90% of the result is scrapped cause of this bug, if this bug gets fixed, I will flip this review, cause honestly, this game's mechanic is pretty solid, but I don't think it did a good job of putting me on edge unless I have friends on a discord call.

ADVICE FOR PEOPLE WHO WANTS TO ENJOY THIS GAME.
I know this game might look ugly to you because of how outdated it is, but it's not fully the fault of its age,
- I recommend you to turn the resolution to 640x480 on 4:3 aspect ratio, this really helped me because playing on 16:9 makes your movement more inaccurate and makes you prone to falling off platforms, and the lower resolution helps masks the game's textures that were not meant for modern displays.
- If you have a CRT Monitor, I suggest you dusting it off and plugging it in to play games like these, or any game really, not only is it aesthetically pleasing, the graphic translates better on CRT as it is its intended monitor to work with.
- The game is kind of hard, especially on the harder difficulty, I suggest you to bind some of your keys to quick save and quick load, for example
Bind p "save quick"
Bind o "load quick"
- Be creative with the game, half life won tons of awards for a reason, the gameplay is really flexible, there are multiple ways for you to tackle a single enemy, shotgun to the face, bounce grenade off of the walls, use tripmines and lure them over with a pistol shot, etc.
I hope this helps because I know how it feels playing this game without knowing these beforehand, it feels bland and wonky. I hope this helps you to understand how the game was meant to be played and how to enjoy it in a today.

Please fix matchmaking, it really can be better imo

I come back to this game a lot, I may not be playing it right now, but I will always remember the joy of getting in the saferoom just in time to avoid the tank's attack
