Modern Warfare Remastered is like finding your old favorite toy—only to realize Activision’s broke it and glued all the moving parts and charged you for it. Sure, the graphics are nicer, but the multiplayer? It’s as stale as year-old bread.

And just when modders made the game actually fun by turning it into a Modern Warfare 2 remaster—complete with the full map roster and killstreaks—Activision swooped in with a cease and desist. Because, clearly, nothing says "thank you for buying our game again" like shutting down fans’ creativity.

Thanks for the memories, Activision. Too bad you smothered the fun.
