Leaving the original text below; it seems we spoke and they listened. Again, leaving original text because I do not trust Sony to not do something stupid down the line. But for the devs and for the game itself - total thumbs up. The game is hella fun.

In an overreach forcing users that did not require a PS account prior to now; a switch has been made to require linking a PS account. This is a major data scraping change, blindsiding purchasers and players, and refunds need to be forced upon the developers to show Sony not to overstep like this ever again.

While we all know this game has its issues; I am really seeing the potential of growth more and more. It was a rocky start, with problems that still crop up, but the development team is showing more and more of a responsiveness. The rework of the starting experience has been amazing. I cannot wait to see what they do with Brightwood and Weaver's Fen next. The PvE feels satisfying, crafting and gathering is fun, PvP is a bit of a find the meta situation - but I am seeing more potential for it down the line.

I really do enjoy my time in Aeternum and would very much say New World is worth the price tag. Pop in, have some fun, relax and enjoy yourself. I for one want to nurture our new sprouts and to see them grow.
