Where wind and earth in harmony bide,
A lonely path with footprints faint,
And simple joys without restraint.

Beneath the sun, the green grass grows,
The creek runs clear where no one knows,
A distant barn, its roof so red,
A life of peace, where hope is fed.

I want to live where cows roam free,
And feel the quiet hold of me,
A jug of milk, so cold and sweet,
A humble life where time feels fleet.

But dreams, they slip like fleeting days,
And I am lost in city’s haze.
The farm is far, the cows unseen,
My heart still yearns for that green scene.

I want to drink from morning’s dawn,
And taste the milk, the life I’ve longed,
But here I stand in crowded streets,
My soul still aches for pasture’s peace.

Oh, how I wish to leave this race,
And find that farm, that sacred place,
Where milk is all I need to feel—
A life that’s simple, slow, and real.

Yet here I stay, a dream denied,
With only memory as my guide.
A glass of milk—so far, so near—
A fleeting dream I hold so dear.
