No Man's Sky is a good game... for a while. A significant portion of my time playing NMS leaves me wondering why the game is the way it is. There are 18 quintillion planets in this game... And yet, in the vast expanse, the second I leave an atmosphere there's always space pirates riding my ass. Without my hyperdrive it takes forever to get around, and I can't hyperdrive with a space pirate going to town on my ass. So how in the hell are there space pirates everywhere?

Why would you even choose to make a game with 18 quintillion planets if they all fall into a couple categories that are all the same? And why would you even make them planets if I know exactly what an entire planet is going to look like after less than 5 seconds on it? Why is this planet so gigantic and redundant and why is the universe all the same? Why am I staring at this rock mining for so long?

I am recommending this game if it is on sale. The first several hours I played were some of my most favorite hours in gaming; however, the depth of the game is lacking which has led me to avoid the game until the next big update comes out.

So far an amazing game with everything I wanted. Loved Banished but wanted more. Now I have it. My only concern is whether gameplay will progress too quickly, as I enjoy long-winded games. Even if it does, there are situational game-modes that take the game much farther than just creative or normal mode. Enjoy!

Game is very bad. Nothing in the game makes any sense. Forced myself to keep playing and just kept wondering why
