I'm boutta' bust

What we have here is a fun successor to the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R games. The performance definitely needs some optimization tweaking but that's to be expected of a modern day game release. I recommend turning on FSR Frame Generation and it will help with the frame rate a bit (at least it did for me) making the game playable and an enjoyable experience.

If you bought this game expecting GAMMA or Anomaly, you may or may not be disappointed.
If you played the original trilogy at some point, welcome home.

Yes, the games menu is obnoxious
Yes, it does use A LOT of assets from MGS5
Yes, the game makes you pay for extra characters(hey look just like Metal Gear Online 3 did)
Yes, I too DO NOT believe this game should have had 'Metal Gear' in the title.
The game is somewhat grindy especially early on, and the tutorials are EVERYWHERE.

But believe it or not, being someone who has 12 hours at the time of this review, I have actually had A LOT of fun in this game. If you view this as 'another survival game', you'll enjoy it much more than if you view it as a 'Metal Gear' game.

Definitely look at the hours played on the reviews while you take them into consideration.

TL;DR: Game is surprisingly fun, a little slow to start, if you like survival games you'll enjoy it, if you don't enjoy Survival games, avoid it.

EDIT: On the real though, it's about enough content for maybe 2-3 hours. The weapons and stuff you get are rad as heck and the enviroment is pretty neat too. I'd say it's worth it.

Oh no the server went down 5 minutes after the game came out, better write a mean review.
